I’m a Prophet
We are in a series called “Frequency” … Tuning In and hearing God
I believe this is so important because we have so many choices to make and hearing God to lead us can change everything.
God wants to speak with you… He created communication … so He could talk with us
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
Week 1- I’m a sheep
Week 1- I’m a sheep - Innate - Learned - Matured
And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.
And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.
4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.
When we are born again - receiving Jesus into our hearts…we have this INNATE ability to hear God, and when we learn this… we won’t follow another false voice
Week 2 - I’m a Friend - God wants to be personal with you - God speaks to people - God speaks to His friends
The New King James Version.

Nashville: Thomas Nelson.
-  “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come
So know that God does speak and wants to with you… Your a sheep / God is your Shepard - He will guide you
Your a friend and friends talk and share…
Today...
I’m a PROPHET
I’m not talking about the office of a prophet from but will explain to you that we all can prophecy
You will see what I’am talking about hear in , Moses was talking to God and was burned out and this is where we see Elders come in and what God said...
So Moses went out and told the people the words of the Lord, and he gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people and placed them around the tabernacle.
25 Then the Lord came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and placed the same upon the seventy elders; and it happened, when the Spirit rested upon them, that they prophesied, although they never did so again.
26 But two men had remained in the camp: the name of one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad.
And the Spirit rested upon them.
Now they were among those listed, but who had not gone out to the tabernacle; yet they prophesied in the camp.
27 And a young man ran and told Moses, and said, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.”
28 So Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, one of his choice men, answered and said, “Moses my lord, forbid them!” 29 Then Moses said to him, “Are you zealous for my sake?
Oh, that all the Lord’s people were prophets and that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!”
24 So Moses went out and told the people the words of the Lord, and he gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people and placed them around the tabernacle.
So here are the 3 points for today...
28 So Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, one of his choice men, answered and said, “Moses my lord, forbid them!”
1.
All can prophesy.
29 Then Moses said to him, “Are you zealous for my sake?
Oh, that all the Lord’s people were prophets and that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!”
Moses prayed that the Lord would put His Spirit upon all His people so that they would all prophesy.
This prayer was fulfilled in when the Holy Spirit baptized and remained on God’s people so that they all prophesied.
But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.
And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.
:31For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged.
16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy.
So we all can do this, and even further…what is prophecy?
Giving a message from God
So we all would need to hear from God in order to prophecy from God
is the fulfilment of Moses prayer
The Bible says they never prophesied again… why?

One it rested and on the other it remained
But because He remains doesn’t mean we always yield to Him but it means He is always there.
Holy Spirit will talk to you… He will tell you what the Father speaks...
Story / Woman who came and asked for prayer… Her son was missing or she hadn’t heard from him and she was worried, as we were praying Holy Spirit spoke to me and “Said … tell her she will hear from her son in 3 days”
I was like are you sure !!!!!! Within three days she heard from her son and it has helped her tremendously to know God
cares enough about her to speak and answer....
We all can prophesy....
2. Prophecy is not manipulative.
Hearing and speaking from God is a careful learning process.
Our own selfish desire could lead us to prophesy vainly.
Prophecy is not for personal gain....
We can’t just say what we want and add the “Lord said “ at the end of it
The Holy Spirit walks alongside us and talks with us with words of exhortation, not manipulation.
“I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in My name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’ 26 How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies?
Indeed they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart
