Grow in Understanding the truth of God.

It’s the first thing thing we are to think on to protect our hearts and minds in Philippians.

​ ESVFinally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

In this covenant we make a promise to point each other to the truth.Truth is NOT how we feel about a certain thing and it can only be found one place.

​ ESVJesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

​ ESVSanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.

​ ESVLead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.

​ ESVThe sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever.

So the promise we made is that we make a promise to point eachother to the word of truth and to seek to understand it again.

​ ESVSo Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
