Revolution of Grace

Scriptures: 2 Corin 12:9.  

While in meditation i kept hearing the Holy Spirit prompting me and i didn’t really understand at first. “Reveal the Revolution” so a Revelation of a spiritual revolution

in order for you the congregation of 

LifeGate to walk in the righteousness that this pulpit calls you too 

you’re going to have to get a revelation of this Grace and start a Revolution in your spirit

I look around and so many in the church are beat up

Self condemning that they constantly feel that they Have to strive to get closer to Jesus.

Some of these are men and women of God that walk in righteousness they love the Lord but they’re constantly doing works to pull themselves closer to Jesus. 

Let me to tell you why.

Your whole life you’ve been Preached (by church and society)in a way that has made you feel personally in adequate in your  role as a Christian

in my role as a Christian start to rise up and they feel DIRTY AND DISTANT 

Then Culture screams at us trying to mold you into its image instead of the other way around.

Grace is not buzzword....It’s not an Instagram post and 

It’s definitely not an end all -cover all so you can go on 

conveniently comfortable in your sin and call your self Christian. 

I personally try to push the point of grace but I stay away 

from it as a topic because are so many ministers that have used it as this overall coverall permissive thing

Basically Do thy own will it’s OK ...

it’s an abuse of grace and it  makes a farce of gods grace

 it’s not true grace they are preaching...It’s Christian self help preaching.

It’s the church self help movement and it’s garbage.... 

8 steps to a better you. 4 steps to financial freedom in Christ.

It doesn’t work. 

We have Christian’s falling apart at the seams 

all over the place because the self-help messages that are being preached

All Disguised by the WORD grace 

The church self-help movement isn’t good and it doesn’t  work for us as Christians

😇 This is a Revolution of Grace 

💥 Grace is not a permissive word used to push the envelope as far as possible.

Instead Grace pulls us close to God

See religion is basically something that is based on rules and rewards.

MAN AT POOL 

Let me explain the man at the pool in Bethesda was healed by Jesus on the Sabbath.

He goes to the temple priests just to show them

All they can say it is sin to carry your mat on the Sabbath

Thats religion

38 years of being lame and I come into this temple leaping and jumping and all you can say is it is sin for me to carry him out on a Sunday

And Religion will be Contradicted by Our Lord Jesus

CONTRADICT 

Jesus tells us that we abide in him and he abides in us. 

 We are called ,chosen, ordained, more than conquerors. 

And if you say anything other than that about yourself Jesus will contradict you

hom-ol-og-eh’-o = CONFESS, PROFESS AND PROMISE

Deny in the Greek is Arneomai =

AR-neh’-om-ahee and it TRANSLATES TO CONTRADICT 

The scripture if you deny me I will deny you

that word actually translates 

not deny but contradict

DEEP....JESUS IS 

But  pastor when you going to preach something deep. When are we going to get to the meat

Newsflash Jesus is the meat 

he’s not the diving board 

 Grace is not the diving board 

it is the deep 

I dare you to find a bottom I dare you to find a bottom I dare  you find the walls.... 

BACK TO INADEQUATE 

A moment ago I as  talking about personal in adequacy in our roles as Christians.

One of the first revelations I got was if you can feel this way how much more could your congregation be feeling this also

WEDDING DAY 

Wedding day – it’s simple I do... but from wedding to reception is an hour to two hours. So before I could celebrate with my wife and I knew wife I had two hours of surreal sweet time that we just lingered.

That’s where religion is keeping you

it’s sweet and it’s surreal but you haven’t got to experience the party yet.

We are the bride of Christ we are supposed married to him already

FIANCÉ WEDDING DAY 

How many people know that a fiancé looks forward to her wedding. 

 there comes a point where she doesn’t enjoy the engagement anymore she’s just looking forward to the wedding

Religion is always about something someday. Yes we look for the return of Jesus yes we know he’s coming back 

That’s  religion that’s points  you to only look for that day.....Jesus will be coming back Sunday and it all be better. I’m just a fiancé so my wedding will happen someday and I am so I can’t enjoy the now.

Yes Jesus is coming back and I am excited for that day but what about Jesus right now

He’s looking for his bride but she’s been so busy trying to prepare all the details for some coming day that she stressed out to the max and she can’t enjoy his presence now

Let me tell you something Church Jesus is coming back for a bride not for a fiancé

We are already married to Jesus. That’s why we’re not gonna stand here in single lonely love songs in church we’re going to make new covenant declarations

SCHIZ CHRISTIAN 

Remember you can’t be a schizophrenic Christian. A little holy and a little devil. A little saved and a little lost. You can’t be a little in and a little out. A little devoted and a little un devoted. 

You’re either married to him or you are not. 

You either are or you are not. 

There are many that say they are... but truly aren’t married 

 but for those of us that are married to him we tend to struggle

to get beat down with inadequacy.

 Not realizing that we either are married to him or not

We read scripture not understanding it like the vine in the branch. In the hot and the cold.

John 15:1–6 NLT

“I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned.

Do you bear fruit ?

do you realize that you’re already clean 

and do you remain in him 

 if you do truly ABIDE in Him then stop being concerned if you forget your Bible study today that you’re gonna be thrown into the fire.

Now if you’re just comfortable with yourself and your sin life yeah there’s a fire coming

But for those that are married and are worried about being cut off and thrown into a fire it’s like been worried about divorce on your honeymoon 

 Jesus said he gave us all of Him 

he said I give you all of me 

and if that is true and you can’t struggle to get closer 

he’s given it to you just got to tap in to it

Right in your belly

A Branch is attached to it vine 

 I don’t think you can get much closer than that 

 they are intertwined and wraparound one another

And since you are a branch which is part of the vine that is him 

That makes it one piece 

anyone who touches the branch that is you... touches him.

If You put your hands on someone sick the hands of Jesus have just been put on them

Religion is a mindset. It’s a mindset of do it yourself

We can’t do this our self....come on somebody we can’t do this our self

Marriage is just a natural picture of our spiritual union with Christ.

Like in we use all the time

we use all the time

sometimes we use it to beat people down in marriage/relationships

sometimes we use it to lift it up

but what Paul is using it for is to paint a picture of our spiritual union with Christ

Is the way you love your spouse that that is showing your kids how God loves us or not

Some of us have a such a hard time understanding SonShip because of our father figures or the way our mothers treated our fathers.

Come on this is good preaching.

And there better be some good hearing out there because faith comes by hearing the gospel.

The reason we don’t have a lot of faith in our churches right now because they aren’t hearing the gospel they are hearing good advice

how can Jesus get any closer since He’s taken it all for you 

Before we leave I need you to get a revelation of Grace that comes from your sonship 

At the ascension Jesus said I will not leave you orphans..... 

We have an orphan spirit in our church because we do not realize that we are sons 

Orphans are insecure sons  are  secure

Mistrustful or  trusting

Performance oriented/ relationship oriented 

Demand oriented / supply oriented

A Father knows His children
