We are working our way through the Book of Matthew. Two weeks ago Andy spoke on the transfiguration, where Jesus was transformed before Peter, James, and John. Andy addressed how mountains may not be in our way to transformation, but on our way to transformation. Not only did Peter, James, and John see the glory of God, but it was event that had a lasting impression upon their lives and their ongoing transformation as early leaders within the church.
They leave the mountain top and quickly experience the realities of life in the valley…where there is sickness, demonic oppression, suffering, hardship, and spiritual warfare.
