Holy In Both States

In the this mortal body and state of being which will end at some point in time, there is a second state of being that is eternal.

If this mortal state remains unholy then the eternal one will be forever corrupt unto damnation.

  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 

  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 

3. Verses 3-4 There is an inner yearning to be transformed into that glorious state of perpetual holiness in the presence of God.

5. Verse 8 Paul has reached a oneness with God that many of us are fearful of. He is ready to die and be with God spiritually.

6. Verse 9

  And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 

  He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 

  And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 

7. Verses 10-19

I’m in the flesh but I want to make it to the spiritual

I’m in the mortal and I want to make it to the eternal

I’m in the carnal but I want to get to the divine nature of God

verses 11-12

Paul even states in the 3rd chapter of this book that the believers are the letters of the apostles—the people read you for our ministry....

Judgment Before the Great White Throne

  And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 

  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 

  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 

  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 

  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. 

Jesus said I will send you another comforter which is the Holy Ghost.
