Relevant Fisherman
18 While walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.
19 And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
20 Immediately they left their nets and followed him.
21 And going on from there he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he called them.
22 Immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.

Put Bait on Your Hook
8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!
Your story of God’s goodness is the bait. Our story is not just a description of God’s character but a taste of His goodness. And you don’t have to have a bad story to have a good testimony.

Put your hook in the water
We need to share our stories of God’s faithfulness with others. If we never tell our testimony, it’s like walking around a lake with a baited hook and never putting it in the water. Learn to tell your story in a short, genuine, and interesting way.

We need to share our stories with those we encounter every day. We live, work, and shop with people every day-start a conversation and tell people how your life was changed!
Our story is not just a description of God, but a taste.
Real stories of God’s love and power draw people to him.
We must learn to tell our story well.
People love stories. When we tell stories, we’re not talking about religion; we’re talking about our lives.
We need to feel the urgency to share Jesus Christ.
