1. Today’s Bible Verse
1. Today’s Bible Verse
13 for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. 14 Do all things without grumbling or disputing; 15 so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world,
13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. 14 Do everything without complaining and arguing, 15 so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.
13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. 14 Do everything without grumbling or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky

Was Jesus ever discourage?
ANSWER: Not in the sense we usually mean it -- but He certainly was burdened over people's failure to repent and turn to God. He wept over those who refused to turn to God, and in the last hours before His arrest and trial He cried out, "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death" ().

revenge
These are the hardest emotions to control because we act before we think.
The SPIRITUAL MIND consciously places vengeance in the hands of the Lord.
30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge His people.”

I set, renew, and gird up my mind so that I can use my will to choose the right action when negative emotion arises.
