1. The Simple give thanks,

Matthew 11:25–26 ESV
25 At that time Jesus declared, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; 26 yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.

2. The Simple find sufficiency.

In knowledge of God,

Matthew 11:27 ESV
27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

In physical needs,

John 6:11 ESV
11 Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted.

3. The Simple find rest.

Through His yoke from our labor,

28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Through His saving Gospel from our sin,
