Goodness & Faithfulness

Last week

.

The fruits of the Spirit will continue to grow and develop in us, however if they are never harvested then then will never nourish the people who need them.

.The long suffering that Holy Spirit grows/builds in us is a supernatural capacity to continue to move forward even through trials and pain to stand and suffer, its a supernatural strength to press on towards the goal through any trail.

.. The kindness that God shows to all people is designed specifically to lead people to him to lead people to repentance, to lead people to relationship with him.

.

The fruits of the Spirit are divine aspects of the nature and character of God!

.That grow and develop in us only as a result of the Holy Spirit.

This week.

.one

thing i want to make clear about the fruits of the Spirit, is that we as believers do not juts have a few that we get given.

.all of these fruits represent the fullness of the Holy Spirit/God therefore when we receive the Holy Spirit we actually receive all 9 of these fruits.

.

so we shouldn't be thinking in terms of yes i have this one but not that one!

its thank you Jesus that all of these qualities are being grown in me because of you.

The goodness of God is a character trait which applies to every other attribute.

God’s wrath is good.

God’s holiness is good.

God’s righteousness is good.

God is good in His entirety.

There is nothing about God that is not good.

There is nothing God purposes for His children that is not good.

God gives to His children only that which is good.

And He withholds nothing good from us.

God is good, and He is at work in our lives for good.

.

Gods desire for everything that happens is to bring good into our lives, his desires for us are of nothing but good.

.The goodness of God transcends a situation, it is bigger then a moment, it is an overarching desire to see good and bring good into our lives.

.Think about this every part/attribute of God and his character works together to bring good into our lives

.So concerning the ‘goodness’ that we are have developed in us because of the Holy Spirit, its design and intention is that everything that we say and everything that we do would be intend to bring/impart something good into the lives of all people.

.again this only happens via the Holy Spirit we outside of God/the Spirit have no goodness in us ( look at what Paul says about himself )
