You’ll never abide until you receive gracec
The response to truly receiving Gods grace is you want to be near Him not cheat on Him
Donkey or disciple
Mind discipline is like running discipline
You tell someone who can’t run around the block they’re supposed to run a marathon they’ll tell you it’s impossible
Acts 17:27–28 ESV
that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, for “ ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, “ ‘For we are indeed his offspring.’
27 that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, 28 for
“‘In him we live and move and have our being’;
as even some of your own poets have said,
“‘For we are indeed his offspring.
Your purpose will define your actions. If your purpose is to be comfortable then you only need Jesus when you aren’t comfortable
Finding your WHY is finding what drives and inspires you
For love or from love
Are you working for God or with God?
Romans 11:6 ESV
But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.
If you don’t have a Why then you will have a what, what makes me happy, what entertains me, what feels good
1 Corinthians 13:13 ESV
So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:11 ESV
When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.
Psalm 91:1 ESV
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
Mind is stayed
John 8:31–32 ESV
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
John 15:1–5 ESV
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
John 15:
John 15:6–10 ESV
If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love.
John 15:11 ESV
These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
1 John 2:5–6 ESV
but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.
1 john 2:
1 John 2:27–29 ESV
But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him. And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming. If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of him.
John 5:37–38 ESV
And the Father who sent me has himself borne witness about me. His voice you have never heard, his form you have never seen, and you do not have his word abiding in you, for you do not believe the one whom he has sent.
John 1:32–33 ESV
And John bore witness: “I saw the Spirit descend from heaven like a dove, and it remained on him. I myself did not know him, but he who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, this is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
John 14:16–17 ESV
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.
1 John 4:15–17 ESV
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world.

Gospel is grace
Acts 20:24 ESV
But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
While we were yet sinners
Grace is a favor
Luke 1:30 ESV
And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
Luke 2:40 ESV
And the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom. And the favor of God was upon him.
Grace is a pleasure
Acts 24:27 ESV
When two years had elapsed, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus. And desiring to do the Jews a favor, Felix left Paul in prison.
Grace is a pleasure
Grace is thanks,  appreciation
Faith takes what grace makes by agreeing with what He has already set in place for you.
Abram to Abraham
Romans 5:21 ESV
so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:1 ESV
What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound?
Romans 6:6–8 ESV
We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. For one who has died has been set free from sin. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.
Romana 6:6-8
With John
Romans 6:14 ESV
For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.
Romans 6:22–23 ESV
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Grace conscious
1 Corinthians 15:9–10 ESV
For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.
2 Corinthians 8:6–9 ESV
Accordingly, we urged Titus that as he had started, so he should complete among you this act of grace. But as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness, and in our love for you—see that you excel in this act of grace also. I say this not as a command, but to prove by the earnestness of others that your love also is genuine. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.
2 Corinthians 9:8 ESV
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
Galatians 2:9 ESV
and when James and Cephas and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given to me, they gave the right hand of fellowship to Barnabas and me, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

grace doesn’t have a problem with sin, it shows the misunderstanding of grace when people say they fell from grace meaning they sinned, sin doesn’t make you fall from grace, its actually the opposite, trying to earn grace is what makes someone fall from grace
Galatians 5:4 ESV
You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace.
Galatians 5:5–6 ESV
For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love.
Ephesians 3:7–8 ESV
Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God’s grace, which was given me by the working of his power. To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
Ephesians 4:7 ESV
But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift.
The babysitter just keeps you safe while the parents are gone. Its job is to keep you in one place, keep you alive is the babysitters goal. He never told israel to go into all the world. Getting too comfortable. Growing up, becoming dangerous...
Love is always the key and fear is always the problem.
Rich young ruler. If you can’t surrender your security than you have a fear problem. Whether it’s someone or something, your image, your pride or your ministry. Ask yourself what could God tell me to do today that I would resist. Give all you own to the poor and follow me. You don’t think he had people that counted on him for their families? Sell everything and move to Africa. Get up and preach, sing, dance.
He didnt say heres armor but if you're obedient enough you wont need it. Here’s my Holy Spirit, He’s here to make sure you’re comfortable, just let Him know if you need your slippers and pipe. I put the Armor of God on every morning and pick up my shield of faith so that the attacks of the enemy won’t disturb my routine.
Romans 8:5 ESV
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
Salvation presented as fire insurance not as a Father who loved you so much He sent His son to die and a Lord and Master to serve
