For Christmas this year we’re looking at the Christmas accounts involving angels. This week we studied Gabriel’s appearance to Zechariah in Luke 1:5-25. Gabriel announced to Zechariah that he and Elizabeth would be having a son, after years of barrenness, even in their old age. This boy would be named John and he would come in the spirit and power of Elijah to prepare the way for Jesus.
