Friday Evening Service

Spring Communion Season 2014 Our Spring Communion Season begins this coming Thursday 6th March. We hope to have preaching the Rev Stephen Matthews ( United Free Church ) and the Rev Paul Amed (Barvas). Also preaching will be the Rev Hugh M Stewart ( Lochs-in-Bernera linked with Uig ). Stephen Matthews is a minister in the United Free Church , and now resides with his wife Dolly in Enaclete Uig. Both Hugh and Paul are well known to us here in Ness and we are indebted to them both for their willingness to assist us during our communions. You are very warmly invited to all these services . The Kirk Session will be opened for business on Wednesday night after the prayer meeting. The Session will meet thereafter after all the services, with the sole purpose of meeting with anyone who desires to profess their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and become communicant members of the Congregation. If anyone would like to discuss this matter privately and informally before the Communions , please get in touch with either the minister or any of the elders. The programme of meetings for the weekend will be as follows; Wednesday 5th March 7.30pm We meet to pray for God’s blessing on the forthcoming Communion season. Please stay behind and join us if you can.. Donations of baking for the fellowship would be very welcome. Saturday 8th March 12 Noon English Rev Stephen Matthews ( After this service communion tokens will be given to those hoping to go to the Sacrament of the Lord’s supper on Sunday morning.
