The Spring Communions Season will start on Thursday 10th March, and run until Monday
14th. We look forward to this time and are fortunate to welcome a number of ministers this
year. The services and times of fellowship are detailed below. Everyone is very warmly
invited to all these services.
The Kirk Session will be opened for business on Thursday night before the first service.
The Session will meet thereafter after all the services, with the sole purpose of meeting
with anyone who desires to profess their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and become
communicant members of the Congregation. If anyone would like to discuss this matter
privately and informally before the Communions, please get in touch with any of the
elders.
Thursday 7th March 7pm Rev Wayne Pearce.
Friday 11th 12pm midday Rev Wayne Pearce.
Friday 11th 7pm Rev Tommy MacNeil.
This service is followed by an informal fellowship in the church hall, to which everyone is
most welcome to come along... Please stay behind and join us if you can... donations of
baking for the fellowship would be very welcome.
Saturday 12th 12pm midday Rev Paul Amed.
After this service communion tokens will be given to those hoping to go to the Sacrament
of the Lord’s supper on Sunday morning. There will also be an informal fellowship meal
afterwards in the church hall, a light lunch of soup and sandwiches to which all are
warmly invited.
Saturday 12th 6pm prayer meeting led by the elders.
Sunday 13th 12pm midday Communion Service led by Rev Murdo Smith. During this
service the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated.
Sunday 13th 6.30pm Rev Murdo Smith.
After this service there will be a retiring offering to help with communion expenses.
Monday 14th 7pm Thanksgiving Service, led by Rev Paul Amed.
