    4th December 2016 A very warm welcome to our services of worship today. We pray that you will all know God’s blessing as we meet together. Worship this morning is led by Mr Murdo MacIver and this evening by Mr Iain Macmillan Induction loops are fitted in both the Church and hall for the hard of hearing. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.     Tea/Coffee will be served after the morning service to which everyone is warmly invited Sunday school for all P1-S2 children 3.30pm-church hall 6pm service – led by Mr Iain Macmillan The week ahead Mon 5th Dec 7.30pm- Monthly meeting. Donny MacLeod, the Faith Mission’s Director for Scotland will be speaking about next year’s tent mission in Ness. Tue 6th Dec 8pm - Chit Chat in the church hall, showing a Christian family film for young and old, ‘The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry’. All women most welcome. Wed 7th Dec 10.15am Women’s bible study at Dolina Murray’s house, 34b Lionel. All women welcome. Wed 7th Dec 7.30pm Midweek prayer meeting, church hall. Fri 9th Dec 6pm-7.15pm Rock Solid Christmas Session, Spors Nis. Please note change of time. This will be the last session of Rock Solid for 2016. Menus should be returned to Martha MacKay, 810890 (women’s meal) and Norman MacLeod, 810364 (men’s meal) by today Sat 17th Dec - Sunday school and crèche Christmas party will be held in Spors Nis on Saturday 17th December, 2-4 pm. Following last year’s successful collection for the food bank we will be taking up a food collection again this year. Any donations can be brought in the last two weeks of December ready for delivery beginning January. More details to follow. Please continue to pray for our congregation, that we would know the Lord’s blessing at this time. We continue to pray for all in our congregation and community who are in hospital or are ill in any way. If you know of someone who needs prayer at this time, please let one of the Elders know
