Spring Communions 2019
Thursday 7th to Monday 11th March.
We look forward to this time and are blessed to have the Rev Scott
Cameron with us for our Communion services.
Everyone is very warmly invited to all the services and fellowships.
The Kirk Session will be opened for business on Thursday night
before the first service. The Session will meet thereafter after all the
services, with the sole purpose of meeting with anyone who desires
to profess their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and become
communicant members of the Congregation. If anyone would like to
discuss this matter privately and informally before the Communions,
please get in touch with any of the elders.
Thursday 7th March, 7pm - Rev Scott Cameron.
Friday 8th March, 12pm, midday – Please note there will be no
midday service.
Friday 8th March, 7pm - Rev Scott Cameron.
This service is followed by an informal fellowship, testimony and
singing in the church hall, to which everyone is most welcome to
come along. Please stay behind and join us if you can. Donations of
baking for the fellowship would be very welcome.
Saturday 9th March, 12pm midday - Rev Scott Cameron.
After this service communion tokens will be given to those hoping to
go to the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper on Sunday morning.
There will also be an informal fellowship meal afterwards in the
church hall, a light lunch of soup and sandwiches to which all are
warmly invited.
Saturday 9th March, 6pm - Prayer Meeting led by the Elders.
Sunday 10th March, 12pm, midday - Communion Service led by
Rev Scott Cameron.
During this service the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be
celebrated.
Sunday school will be on to allow children and family to attend.
The children should go through to the hall and will come through to
church prior to communion being served.
Sunday 10th March, 6.30pm - Rev Scott Cameron.
After this service there will be a retiring offering to help with
Communion expenses.
Monday 11th March, 7pm - Thanksgiving Service led by
Rev John Murdo Nicolson.
