But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself with the king’s food, or with the wine that he drank. Therefore he asked the chief of the eunuchs to allow him not to defile himself. And God gave Daniel favor and compassion in the sight of the chief of the eunuchs, and the chief of the eunuchs said to Daniel, “I fear my lord the king, who assigned your food and your drink; for why should he see that you were in worse condition than the youths who are of your own age? So you would endanger my head with the king.”
Introduction:
Be Resolved, Be Purposed, Be Intentional
Be Resolved, Be Purposed, Be Intentional
If you are to build a righteous private life you must be resolved to do so.
No one mistakenly lives faithful and righteous before God.
But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself with the king’s food, or with the wine that he drank. Therefore he asked the chief of the eunuchs to allow him not to defile himself.
Daniel purpose to keep the law, even though he wasnn’t in his home land.
even though he was a prisoner
even though he had orders contrary to God’s word
For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.
It is commonly believed that which you do in private/ secret is who you really are.
So it only makes sense that what you do in secret is where the practice must take place.
A believers basic aim is to do his Father’s will.

“Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
When you operate in the purposes, intentions, and goals of godliness especially when no one is looking, God will reward

Ten times better
Ten times better

Daniel; Hananiah; Mishael and Azariah were among magicians; enchanters and other pagan practices.

Building your private life godly has awesome potential...
I have more understanding than all my teachers,
for your testimonies are my meditation.
For those who build their lives appropriately there remains mighty potential
