Pastor Luke taught from Matthew 1:18-25 and the main idea was, "At Christmas our peace is Jesus, the fulfillment of God’s plan." He said that Joseph’s peace was in God’s ways (verses 18-19). An astonishing announcement led to a risky response (verses 20-25). The angel’s astonishing announcement: Mary is telling the truth! Joseph’s risky response: Marry Mary! His risky response of obedience showed peace in God’s plan.
