2 Thessalonians 1:7–10 CSB
and to give relief to you who are afflicted, along with us. This will take place at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels, when he takes vengeance with flaming fire on those who don’t know God and on those who don’t obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will pay the penalty of eternal destruction from the Lord’s presence and from his glorious strength on that day when he comes to be glorified by his saints and to be marveled at by all those who have believed, because our testimony among you was believed.

Where are we

To many times do we choose to avoid the topic on what is going on in the Christian community. We as Christians are failing to provide the one mission that was commanded to us by Christ to do and that is to Make disciples in all the nations. A lot of times we choose to not worry about it because we do not see others doing it, or we are worried about what others think about us.
Christianitytoday.com did a study on the seven reasons not to share Christ, and as we go over them you will see that we all have least done on of these once in our lives.
I’m not smart enough
I don’t want anyone to be mad
my friends will make fun of me
None of my Christian friends do it
I’m not a very good christian
All my friends are christian
I don’t know where to start.
We tend to use these reason to not worry because simple we are losing our focus on what we were told to do and because of it we as Christians are failing .
Another study was done by bible .org to see what the statistics were for people evangelizing.
63% of the leadership in this denomination, including deacons and elders, have not led one stranger to Jesus in the last two years through the method of “Go Ye” evangelism.
49% of the leadership ministries spend zero time in an average week ministering outside of the church.
89% of the leadership ministries have zero time reserved on their list of weekly priorities for going out to evangelize.
99% of the leadership ministries believe that every Christian, including leadership, has been commanded to preach the gospel to a lost world.
97% believe that if the leadership had a greater conviction and involvement in evangelism, that it would be an example for the church to follow.
96% of the leadership believe their churches would have grown faster if they would have been more involved in evangelism.
I know when we think leadership we think the pastors, deacons, elders. but that is not true when someone come to that church that doesn’t know christ and they look us to you as an individual and they want what you have you are now a leader in their salvation. We aren’t doing it at all.
Paul has said something about this in 2 Thessalonians. (read verses).
The short version of the verse says that because of us not share the gospel and not doing what we were told to do our friends and love one that we do not share the gospel with are going to Hell and it is our fault. they are going to suffer and pay a penalty because of us.
how many of us would like to pay a price for something that was not your fault . Nobody wants that , We say we care about this people but we choose to go everyday to just push these people to the side when it comes getting them saves.
We are going on a mission trip to exactly that save people. How can we go and save people if we can’t do it here in our community. We are called to take action.

Are You

Are you ready to get involved?
Are you needing to take sometime with God on What to do next?
Are you ready to Commit your life to doing what we are commanded to do?
