Five volunteers were needed to accomplish a dangerous mission.  The commanding officer lined his men up, telling them of the need.  He said that he would turn his back, and, while turned, those who would volunteer for the assignment could step forward.  This he did, but, when he turned his back, his entire group of men stood intact.  Expressing disappointment in them, one responded, “Sir, we all stepped forward.”  This is the spirit that we need in local congregations of the Lord.
