The world in turmoil, people in fear, perplexity, and worry
Like the Prophecy of the fall of Jerusalem/the Temple in AD70
Not one stone - some of the Temple’s stones were 7 feet tall and 60 feet long.
Warning
Sign of the prophecy’s veracity and a foreshadowing of things to come
Josephus reports - 1,100,000 Lille and 97,000 dragged off in parade to Rome
Starvation in the city- a woman named Mary slew & roasted and ate her own infant
Judgment on Jerusalem for unbelief/rejecting Jesus. The Lord has departed from the Temple as they had deserted God in their hearts. Outwardly the Temple has remained beautiful and worship had continued.

Lest your hearts be weighed down/ depressed
With Drunkenness and dissipation
Dissipation - a life of wasteful self-indulgence (PBC)
