Sometimes God's Tests Seem Unreasonable (22:1-2)

Why would God ask Abraham to kill his own son?

It's asking him to do something the pagan nations around him would do.

It's asking him to murder.

It's asking him to undo the covenant promise God made to him.

Why would God continue to test Abraham's faith?

Maybe Abraham didn't pass all of the previous tests, but he passed some.

Maybe Abraham was a growing as fast as God wanted him to, but he was growing.
