“Turn to me and be saved,

all the ends of the earth!

For I am God, and there is no other.

PRAY!!!

Introduction:

Everyone is seeking salvation from the effects of the Fall and the curse.

Personal experience is that I would do anything to get the drugs that I needed in order to escape from the reality that this world is broken place.

It does not matter who you are, every human longs to be saved from the realities of this broken world.

Some suicide, money, drugs, plastic surgery… Everyone has a longing for salvation and we ultimately end up worshipping and sacrificing everything to what we see as our savior.

Body:

MP: Turn from your false saviors to your all powerful Creator through Christ. For there is salvation in no one else.

There is only one God

Six times in Chapter 45 it is said in several ways that there is only one God. vv. 5,6,14, 18, 21, 22.

Who is this God and why should we obey? How does he define himself?

He defines himself as Creator!!!

and created man on it;

it was my hands that stretched out the heavens,

and I commanded all their host.

who created the heavens

(he is God!),

who formed the earth and made it

(he established it;

he did not create it empty,

he formed it to be inhabited!):

He defines himself as Sovereign!!!

I make well-being and create calamity;

I am the LORD, who does all these things

2. There is one plan of salvation.

This salvation is defined as an eternal salvation. Salvation from the ultimate curse of the Fall… death.

But Israel is saved by the LORD

with everlasting salvation;

to all eternity.

This eternal salvation is not just for Israel but for “all the ends of the earth.

Application/Response

The all-powerful Creator God is calling all the ends of the earth to turn away from their idols/false saviors and turn to him. This command demands a response.

I want to present us with a question. Where else can we go to be saved?

After I end in prayer I am asking that everyone to respond to the words of the only God by finding someone to have a conversation about God’s command to turn to him because he is God.
