English Standard Version Chapter 5
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,
5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Prayer
Let us pray! Heavenly Father thank You for using me in Your ministry! Thank You for guiding me thus far and granting me Your grace! Even now, Lord, You know the purpose for which I have come to You. Decrease me, and increase you. Holy Spirit fill me with grace, anointing, and power so that I can preach Your word boldly and with authority. I'm unworthy Lord! But make me worthy by cleansing me and filling me with Your Holy Spirit. Amen!

Introduction
Brothers and Sisters, I begin with a reflection on a moment in the beginning at what we call the Garden of Eden when the path of the created were alignment with God. The Garden of Eden was a place where harmony with God truly existed. A place where God walked with and talked with His creation directly. In this beautiful garden God, our Creator gave man dominion over the land, the animals and all the creeping things ().
The Garden was a holy place, and we had everything we needed or ever wanted. However, temptation came and separated us from the garden experience. Setting us amongst a world that was unlike the garden. It is in some ways the very opposite of that beautiful experience.
Yes, we were separated from the Creators garden experience, but the good news is that we didn’t lose our God, nor were we separated from him. However, we were removed from a direct connection to God's righteous covering, and as a result, we were allowed to experience life differently.
This separation caused by disobedience, rebellion, and sin. All of which created a strain on the relationship between God and man. This disconnection needed restoring. Brothers and sisters, without such a restoration, we would be forced to answer directly to a righteous God, in our unrighteous condition.
And for a brief moment, that’s what I want to talk about today! I want to share a Word from God, from the subject of "Being at peace with God."
Brothers and sisters, there is peace found in our Creator
There is peace found in Jesus Christ.
There is peace in receiving the Holy Spirit.
A feeling of peace that surpasses all understanding.
A sense of peace that Peter spoke about when he says cast, “all your anxieties on him because he cares for you.” . The peace that Isaiah prophesied about when he spoke about a “perfect peace so long as I trust in him.” . Peace with God means that our consciences are cleared (
; ). The overwhelming weight of guilt that plagued us all is gone, placed on Jesus on the cross (; ).

What I'm trying to say to you all is that even in your current situation, our mighty God still has a plan of peace for you! Even though we experienced separation in the garden, or this world. God still has a plan for you! Thats enough to give God some praise.
Late in the midnight hour when all hope is lost - give God praise for He’ll be right there.
Even though we experienced separation in the garden, or this world. God still has a plan for you! Thats enough to give God some praise.
When tomorrow is not certain and today seems far away - thats a good place to give God praise and watch him show up, in your life.
Scriptural Background
Scriptural Background
Our text today is written by the apostle Paul. Chapter 5 of Romans is near the end of Pauls discussion on Justification and just before where he shifts his conversation into Sanctification. In this chapter of the text Paul expounds on what the results of justification are and how one should live a life righteously through Jesus Christ. The Christians, Jews and Gentiles in the are of Rome who recieved this letter were dealing with an issue of placing other wordly concerns on top or in between there faith in Christ. Paul’s message was a sharp contrast against that kind of behavior.
What we are meant to learn is that, “Justification through faith in Jesus Christ takes away guilt and so makes way for peace, and gives access into the wondrous grace of God. Through Jesus Christ alone the believer comes into fullness of joy, being saved from wrath, solaced in His love, not only going to heaven, but going triumphantly.”

Through Jesus Christ alone the believer comes into fullness of joy, being saved from wrath, solaced in His love, not only going to heaven, but going triumphantly.”
What Paul was teaching then, we highlight now. Being at Peach with God starts with knowing your saved by Christ. And do we have any believers in here today that would testify that if it had not been for the Lord on their side, they might not be here today.
Faith in Jesus the Christ is how we're restored to this place of righteousness and glory with God. Faith is described as; complete trust or confidence in someone or something.
The faith of the Christian grants you access to the unlimited power of Jesus Christ. We also gain power through his Authority as the Son of God who died for our sins and was raised for our justification so that we may be in right relationship with God receiving the seal of salvation.
That's Gods love for us.
fOR US TODAY WE
God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
It has always been God's plan for man to experience peace of heaven right here on earth. All of God's creation should experience the garden experience right now in this place.
Regardless of the situations, we're currently in, and our hearts can't be affected by this worlds ills and spoils. We must guard ourselves with the armor of the Lord and stand in the grace that he has provided for our protection.

Point 1 - Our Justification comes by way of Faith
Point 1 - Our Justification comes by way of Faith
Our text says in , “Therefore since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” ()
Faith in Jesus Christ is how we're restored to this place of righteousness and glory with God. Faith is described as; complete trust or confidence in someone or something. The writer of Hebrews gives us the biblical definition of faith by stating in , “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Also, faith is a preresiquite for hope and love, Paul says in Corinthians “Now these three remain-faith, hope, and love… (). So in a sense, faith is belief in something and a requirement to possess other things.
The faith of the Christian grants you access to the unlimited power of Jesus Christ. We also gain power through his Authority as the Son of God who died for our sins and was raised for our justification so that we may be in right relationship with God receiving the seal of salvation.

Pauls says “Therefore since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” () - in this text we are given the first blessing of the new covenant belonging to the Christian; having peace with God based on our justification by faith. Its through faith in Christ believers have entered thew new covenant of Grace.

Point 2 - By Grace we Stand
English Standard Version Chapter 5
Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Next point is to teach us that been justified by faith, we now stand in his grace. Grace that we received as a result of our faith. God's unmerited favor on our lives is expressed in the form of His grace. All of us from the pulpit to the back should have been cast away to the slums, but God sent Jesus. So that we may live. What is God's grace you might still be asking? God's grace is a beautiful blessing in the perfect package presented to the believer as Jesus the Christ. There is no other clearer definition then that which I just spoke. The greatest gift God gave to us is Jesus. Yes, I know we experience grace because the sun is up and moon goes down. And yes, I know that because we can all breath that were experiencing Gods grace. But the grace I’m talking about will save you your life so that you can have “peace”.
How did we earn God's magnificent grace you might ask? (PAUSE) We didn’t it was given to use as a gift and a sign of God's love for his people and His desire for us to be in right relationship with Him through his Son.
The Word of God's says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." () Yes, God gave His Son as an ultimate sacrifice for a dying world. However, the story doesn’t stop there. I believe there is even more significance to expressing Gods love for us found in the text if we just keep reading. You see 3:16 tells us what God did as a result of his love for us, but its in verse 17 where we find out why He did what he did in sending Jesus. "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him."
This why we are able to stand in grace. Why because we are justified. We are washed clean.
To fully understand grace, you must first have faith and then, and only then, will you understand that Gods grace is sufficient for all the worries, problems, or situations you may face.
Gods grace is magnified by your faith as we seen with Daniel, when he entered the lions den. Daniels faith activated Gods grace and allowed him to go untouched by the lions. That same faith was seen by the three Hebrew boys when they were thrown in the fiery furnace and came out untouched. Grace is what, even for a moment, had the same person who started the fire, in King Nebuchadnezzar say, "Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods."
As I prepare to take my seat. Know that Gods grace is magnified by your faith as we seen with Daniel, when he entered the lions den. Conclusion
Conclusion
In closing, my brothers and sisters. Peace with God also allows the Christian to live without fear of death or eternity. Our hope is secure in the knowledge that Jesus has done all that was necessary to make us right with God (; ). Our last breath on earth will be our first breath in heaven (; ). The Holy Spirit has been given to us like a promise ring, a certainty that a more significant event will inevitably take place (; ). Right now, the Holy Spirit lives within us to guide, convict, comfort, and remind us of Jesus’ completed sacrifice on our behalf (; 6:19).
So as I prepare to take my seat. I have come today bearing a message that Jesus the Christ is your means of reconciliation.
He is the Truth, The Way and provides the Life you so desperately need.
Receive him and receive his love, his covering.
Be embraced with his humility, and his power will indwell in you through the Holy Spirit.
Being at Peace with God - means being made whole.

Invitation to Christ
Invitation to Christ
Before you we leave today, we would like to invite you to become a member of the Body of Christ. Brother and sisters, God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. God wants you not to only to know who God is, but God also wants to be in a loving relationship with you that is real and personal. That relationship is made possible when we accept the truth as revealed in the scriptures:“ – For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”“ – For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. ”“ – but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” “ – because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” If that is your prayer today than the first call is for you. The call of baptism and salvation. The Lord is calling, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (). Will there be one!The second call is that of discipleship\restoration - “Jesus said to them, ‘Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men'” (). We are saved to serve; we are redeemed to reproduce spiritually; we are fished out of the miry clay so that we, in turn, may become fishers of men. Will there be one!The last call is by letter or Christian experience. - Allow God to you use your gifts here in this place where the Word is fresh and the people are doing kingdom work. Will there be one!Amen!

Amen (,)The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them. ().
