Recognize thru Relationship

We are in our final week of our series “ Frequency” tuning in … hearing God
I pray that this series has helped you to make some adjustments on how to hear God better in your everyday life...
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
God promises for us as His sheep to be able to hear His voice...
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
We know we are sheep, and sheep hear the Shepherd’s voice.
God speaks to us because we are His friends.
We know we are sheep, and sheep hear the Shepherd’s voice. God speaks to us because we are His friends. We must value hearing God’s voice and make time in our lives to listen to Him. Our personal relationship with God is our highest priority, pursuit, and passion.
We must value hearing God’s voice and make time in our lives to listen to Him.
These are some pf the point we covered through out our 7 week study...
So today as we close this series I want to ask you a question....
“What makes introducing Jesus to someone different from other religions?”
Relationship!
Why introduce God to someone and then say but He will never talk to you...
God speaks thru relationship...
Recognize thru relationship...
I have been married for 23 years now, and only as a joke have I pretended to NOT recognize Jennifer’s voice...
As you continue to implement all you have learned I want to leave you with 3 ways to help you “Recognize thru relationship”
1. Our Highest Priority
Our Highest Priority A personal relationship with God is our highest priority. God created us to have a personal relationship with Him. God walked and talked with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. He had a personal relationship with them, and they knew and recognized His voice. Adam and Eve lost that personal relationship with God, but Jesus restored it.
A personal relationship with God is our highest priority.
God created us to have a personal relationship with Him.
And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.”

Sin will always hinder and make it hard for us to hear God’s voice
You have a choice on what to listen to… God’s voice or satan’s voice this world...
Prioritize your relationship… make appointments… efforts…reading His word…your priorities indicate where you are in life....as a man thinketh so is he...
Where is God really listed in your life of priorities…?
God needs to be our highest relational prioritiy
2. Our Highest Pursuit
In the Garden of Eden, there were two trees. God told Adam and Eve to eat from the Tree of Life.
Our Highest Pursuit In the Garden of Eden, there were two trees. God told Adam and Eve to eat from the Tree of Life. Living by the knowledge of good and evil is living by the tree of death. God doesn’t want us to make decisions based on good and bad. He wants us to make decisions based on His voice.
Living by the knowledge of good and evil is living by the tree of death.
God doesn’t want us to make decisions based on good and bad.
He wants us to make decisions based on His voice.
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
Jesus paid the price to have relationship the original intent of God

Not for us to live by what we think is right and wrong by our conscience but to live by His voice.
If we pursue what we believe is right or wrong we will totally miss God in our lives...
Conscience is what we perceive as right or wrong… what we should and shoudn’t do...
What about Abraham?
Moses mother?
Esther...
We need to pursue His voice...
3. Our Highest Passion
In order to follow His voice, we must take time to stop and listen.
Our Highest Passion In order to follow His voice, we must take time to stop and listen. Jesus said only one thing is needed: sitting at His feet and hearing His word. Pastor Robert and other ministers can teach us how to hear God’s voice,
Jesus said only one thing is needed: sitting at His feet and hearing His word.
Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”
Pastor Robert and other ministers can teach us how to hear God’s voice, but only we can develop our personal relationship with God. Hearing God is about having a personal relationship with Him.

Take time to commit to God that you will do everything you can to develop your personal relationship with Him.

As we conclude, remember the following: • Our relationship with God is our highest priority.
• Our relationship with God is our highest pursuit.
• Our relationship with God is our highest passion.
