The truth of this passage is that faith in the Lord and in his promises is a practical approach to life however great the crisis

Second message of warning to Ahaz:

10-12: Attempt to move Ahaz to a position of faith

13-16: Ahaz is the betrayer fo his dynasty’s most treasured hope

16-17: Consequent Calamity

The house of David will be destroyed

Father our hearts we lift,
