God is Doing a New Thing

Isaiah 43:18–19 ESV
“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah
Camp, Shirley. He Makes All Things New: Trusting God in Seasons of Transition . Kindle Edition.
It is important to trust God when going through transition. When you are transitioning, you may feel like you are under pressure. God knows where you are.
It may be in your job, relationships, physical and mental health, or finances—whatever it may be, He is going to transform you from one place to another.
When you transition, you have to catapult. It is like a springboard or a diving board—you jump until you get enough leverage to spring forth. Some people are not catapulting. You have to spring, but you can't cling. If you cling, you don’t spring. So, what are you clinging to? Is it the past? You have to let it go. (WEB) Behold, I will do a new thing.
It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
This is why sometimes you feel like you can’t take it another day; you want something to change. The truth is that God wants this change more than you do, but you cannot get change unless you transition. First, you must be transformed by the renewing of your mind. You cannot keep holding onto old things—old feelings, old memories, and fantasizing about the way it used to be.
In this scripture, God is asking us, “do you not perceive it?” He has been giving us signs all along the way, but very often we refuse to look. We don’t have ears to hear or eyes to see. That is why when God is really doing something to change our situation.
We mess up big time, bigger than we ever because that pressure gets to us. It is the wrong kind of pressure and we submit to it. We have to stay with God because the devil wants to make us get stupid in our hour of blessing. When you feel the greatest pressure, if you are smart, you will realize that it is a snare and you will not allow the devil to mess with your head. We have to outwit him.
Transition comes in seasons. It’s where one season comes to an end and a new season begins. Transition is the passing from condition, or one place to another, (like a paradigm shift). Sometimes transition is not an easy place. In fact, it is the most difficult spot you have ever been in.
It is the place where you are just tired of being tired. Doubt and unbelief double and set in because of the time factor, situations, and the things that you see in the natural. You must not look in the natural because God is a miracle worker. Things can look one way one day and the next day it’s totally different because God works in the suddenlies.
You cannot judge a situation by how it looks, how it makes you feel, or what somebody says to you because God is the author and finisher of our faith ().
Although this is a time of transition and testing, where God is testing our greatest faith, it is also a time where we should feel the calmest. This is a time of great faith and great peace in God.
Now why is this? Because of what has already been spoken.
or what somebody says to you because God is the author and finisher of our faith (). Although this is a time of transition and testing, where God is testing our greatest faith, it is also a time where we should feel the calmest. This is a time of great faith and great peace in God. Now why is this? Because of what has already been spoken. “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
That road in the wilderness is where you are. God is saying, “I'll make a road where there is none, and a path out of your destruction. I'll make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” The desert is just a wasteland of dryness and God will make a river there. He is going to give you something to drink and a way of escape out of your situation if you will just have some peace. So, find peace in what God is saying.
The point I want to make is that God has already spoken. The reason God is asking, “Do you not know it?” is because He has already told you what He is going to do, but now He is just putting it before you.
God said, “Don't remember the former things or the things of old. I do a new thing now.” He is doing it NOW. God has already told you a million times what He is going to do. It is already spoken. The spoken word is coming forth in a fresh, divine perspective. You have to look at your situation differently.
We look at the worst case scenario because we are too busy looking in the natural. We are looking at things the way the world does, looking out of our natural, carnal eyes.
But God is saying, “Look through your spiritual eyes, look towards the hills from which your help comes."” Look at God, who is all-knowing. He is a sovereign God. He can do all things. With man it's impossible, but with God all things are possible. He can make things new.
He can make your raggedy clothes new. He did it for the children of Israel. Their clothes never wore out for 40 years. Their shoes never wore out. We are talking about God. It is all in what you believe, what you know and what you receive by the Spirit. Your perception of God and your perception of your situation must change. You are not in the worst situation. We are in transition—not to death but to abundant life.
Be careful how you process your situation. We process our situation as impossible. We say, “God, I don’t know if it's ever going to change. Will it ever change?” Instead of thinking like this, we need to develop a new perspective about our situation. God works in the suddenlies. We should expect our “suddenly” to come at any time. We should expect change and prepare for it.
The Holy Spirit can change people's minds. He does it every day. He changed your mind when you got saved. That was a miracle. It is the same Holy Spirit.

God gives the power to become
John 1:12 RSV
But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God;

Zechariah 4:6 NASB95
Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.
Zechariah 4:6 NASB95
Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.
It is the power of God that made us Sons and daughters of God.
Our Job is the trust and rely in the power of His Spirit than our own strength and intellect. This is why it says those who are led by HIS Spirit are truely Sons of God.
No how barren something looks like He’ll send the river to bring life in every area.
18Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!”e 19And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah’s womb.
20Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. 21He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises. 22And because of Abraham’s faith, God counted him as righteous. 23And when God counted him as righteous, it wasn’t just for Abraham’s benefit. It was recorded 24for our benefit, too, assuring us that God will also count us as righteous if we believe in him, the one who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead
You have to consider not what you see in the natural. Consider not your situation. Consider not what you see. Consider not how you feel.
How we feel about certain situations is our biggest enemy. God does not want your feelings involved.
He wants your faith. God is doing a new thing and we can't allow our past to cripple our future.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
What does it mean by submitting your life as a living sacrifice? It simply means to do what God wants you to do—to be spirit-led. It is a sacrifice because you cannot follow your flesh. God is asking you to do that so He can give you all the things you want. We want to hold on to our fleshly feelings, like anger and disappointment, and get blessed too, but there has to be an exchange. God will not ask you to do anything that He won’t give you help to do. He has graced us to do

In this next realm of blessing, where God is transitioning you, you cannot be a petty minded person. You will never get the full blessing of God with the same mindset. You will never go where God wants you to be and receive His full benefits with your current state of mind.
The high call is forgetting those things that are behind and pressing forward. In other words, don’t you want more from God? God already has plans for you, but you have to be ready to receive. Don’t miss what God has planned for you. It has already been spoken. We need to start speaking what He has already said about our lives.
It is His plan and purpose to give us what He has promised us. Now God wants to give it to us, and He is trying to show us what we need to do to get it. He is saying to renew our minds so that we can leave the level that we at and go higher. The only way you can go higher is that God thrusts or catapults us in the spirit. God has to push us into our destiny, but He cannot do it the same way that He has previously done it in the past. In this path to our destiny, we also cannot hold on to old things from our past and carry them into our future. God is ready to move into His work.
Is your mind ready to receive what He has? If you still have a poverty mentality, you are not ready for the next big step that God has planned for you. Poverty is in your mind. You cannot take a poverty mindset into prosperity. If you want to do better and go into a higher financial bracket, you cannot take the old way of thinking with you. Leave small mindedness behind. instructs us to do just that. This scripture says that if you are ready to receive what God has for you, you can't take your impoverished mindset. It won’t work.
The enemy wants to keep you bound in your present condition. That is why he keeps speaking doubt, unbelief, anger and many other things to us. Change how you think. Change your expectations. You have to guard what touches your heart because it can destroy you.
That is why he keeps speaking doubt, unbelief, anger and many other things to us. Change how you think. Change your expectations. Just do it! Insecurity and jealousy won’t work where God wants to take you. Competition? It is ridiculous. And who acts like that? Christianity is when you change your heart and your way of thinking. Your heart has to change because out of it flows the issues of life. (NHEB) Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life. You have to guard what touches your heart because it can destroy you.
Remember it His power that
That made bunch of fisherman to Apostles
It is His power that changed Saul to Paul
It is His power makes a person a Prophet
It is His power that makes you an evangelist
It is His power that makes you a pastor
It is his power that makes you a successful

For promotion cometh neither from the east, Nor from the west, nor from the south.

Its Him who builds the church.
Psalm 127:1 NASB95
Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman keeps awake in vain.

1“Shout for joy, O barren woman, who bears no children; break forth into song and cry aloud, you who have never travailed; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband,” says the LORD. 2“Enlarge the site of your tent, stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, do not hold back. Lengthen your ropes and drive your stakes deep. 3

He does not want us bound to our present problems. No matter what is going on in your life right now, the only way it can change is if you think it has changed. It must change in your mind before it happens in the natural.
