Are angels real? Yes
Angels are mentioned in 34 Books for a total of 273 times 108 times in the Old Testament and 165 times in the New Testament.
17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: The Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

Their Beginning:
The source of their beginning.
They are a created being by God out of nothing.
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis
God created world out of nothing.
It comes from the Hebrew word Bara which means out of nothing.
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

The method of their beginning.
Angels like man were created by special act of God.

There is nowhere in the Bible where anyone was changed into an angel
Angels do not reproduce themselves.

The time of their beginning.

Angels were created before the creation of the earth.
The Purpose of their beginning.
Angels were created to glorify Jesus Christ.

Characteristics of Angels.
They are spirit beings.

They possess Emotion.
They display Joy

They are however, inferior to God.
They are not Omnipresent. (everywhere at the same time)
12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
They are not Omnipotent. (having unlimited power; able to do anything)
Daniel 10:12
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
They are not Omniscient. (knowing everything)
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
