Why does Christmas mean so much?
It’s not the birth that is as important as the resurrection.
See his death and his resurrection, means that all those who believe and follow Him are saved.
it is because of this fact we hold by faith: Jesus is active today, the Holy Sprit is active today, God the Father is bringing about His glory today!
And God is entering your lives tonight to remind you, He changed all the rules to be with You.
It’s because of this my friend can be ready for resurrection glory as she prepares for death.
It’s because of Jesus that I know God’s glory will be told out of this hell and horror of losing Eddie.
It’s because of the way God is, that I know God brought you to this point to hear this hope.
Because its nice to live in a society where December 25th is celebrated as meaning something.
But to a person who follows Jesus December 26th is the same kind of day, filled with hope, peace, desires for love, kindness, awareness of God.
And you know August 12? Same kind of day too.
August 13, 14.
But its not that for everyone is it?
For most even here the next day we will role out the Valentine’s Candy, the alcohol for New Years, and back to work.
You see Jesus came to us, but His hope isn’t automatic.
This life doesn’t just happen.
But do you accept the gift?
