Everyday Wisdom

Kidz World Today - Children’s Church
2 Timothy 3:16–17 NLT
16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
Confession of Faith
I am not moved by what I see or by what I feel. I am moved by what I believe. I believe the WORD of God! The victory is mine! I have it now! I can see it through the eyes of my faith! In Jesus name
How many of you have heard the saying live and learn?
I want to share with you how God wants us to reverse that saying and operate in learn and live
2 Peter 1:3–4 NLT
3 By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. 4 And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

We Need Help

Proverbs reaches beyond our human games to show us the truth about ourselves and what are the best ways to live. God is the focus of Proverbs and He should be the focus of our lives as well. He is our Creator

How do we begin? The beginning of Proverbs tells us “We come To God” , We Respect God, We Reverence God and We Submit To God

God Is First

Proverbs 1:7 The Message
7 Start with God—the first step in learning is bowing down to God; only fools thumb their noses at such wisdom and learning.
Prov
Proverbs 1:7 NKJV
7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
To “fear” The Lord means to acknowledge his great power, his complete authority over us and all creation and his hatred of sin! It also means to acknowledge his love, mercy and goodness towards you and me!
Psalm 145:3 AMP
3 Great is the Lord and highly to be praised; and His greatness is [so vast and deep as to be] unsearchable.
How Do I Show Reverence To God?
Proverbs 3:5–8 NLT
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. 6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. 7 Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. 8 Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.
Proverbs 3:9–10 NLT
9 Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. 10 Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.
-
Proverbs 3:11–12 NLT
11 My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. 12 For the Lord corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.
Proverbs 5:21–23 NLT
21 For the Lord sees clearly what a man does, examining every path he takes. 22 An evil man is held captive by his own sins; they are ropes that catch and hold him. 23 He will die for lack of self-control; he will be lost because of his great foolishness.
Prov 5:21-23

11 Just believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or at least believe because of the work you have seen me do. 12 “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. 13 You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. 14 Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!
