Entering 2020 with 20/20 Vision

In the Old Testament, God showed displeasure against His people for lack of sight and foresight (Isa 6:9; Eze 12:1-2; Jer 15:21; Matt 23:16-19; Rev 3:17-18)
I. HEAR what God Says to You
To hear well, you must have unclogged ears - ears without wax.

3 Characteristics of God's Word
- It is living and active (v.12a)
- It is sharper than any double-edged sword (v.12b)
- It penetrates to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow, judges thoughts and attitudes (v.12c)
II. SEE What God Shows You
To see well, we must have unclouded eyes - eyes without scales.
A. See Things Spiritually

- Don't just see things outwardly (Gen 50:20-21, MSG)
- Don't see with worldly wisdom (Pro 3:5-6, ESV)
- Don't solve spiritual issues with carnal mind ( 1 Cor 2:9-11))
- See promotions out of problems
- See blessings instead of burdens
- See opportunities rather than obstacles
- See half-full, not half-empty
B. See Things Supernaturally
- See the natural becoming supernatural
- See the ordinary become extraordinary

III. DO What God Summons You
To take actions, we must have uncluttered hands - hands not clutching non-essentials.
A. Do the Good Thing
God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. (Acts 10:38)
B. Do the God Thing
CHALLENGE
Enter 2020 with 20/20 vision with unclogged ears, unclouded eyes and uncluttered hands.
- Tune to God's frequency. Let Him speak distinctly all that you need to hear to build up your faith for 2020.
- Open your eyes and see from God's perspective.
- Drop all unnecessary clutter in your hands. Find both good things and God things to do.
