INTRODUCTION

Where we’ve come from as a church in the last 4 years.

New Pastor - thanks to the core and ministry leaders from whom I immediately enjoyed commitment and support.

We were a congregation of predominantly senior saint citizens, with a dwindling youth and children’s ministry; we now have a many more younger couples and a rapidly growing children’s ministry.

We have established a consistent prayer movement with believers gathering 2x weekly on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, as well as corporate prayer on the last Wed. night of the month.

We have invested heavily in our physical plant, paving the side parking lot, installing security lighting and cameras, building a playground in the back, added additional drainage, remodeled the sanctuary, and more.

We established outreaches to the community and beyond. We have increased our mission support 2 fold.

We given alms in excess of 35,000 to both church family and the community.

Everything we’ve done since 2015 has been in preparation for 2020. It is a time for a new wineskin, a fresh move of the Holy Spirit.

PRAYER & FASTING

Matthew 9:14–17 TPT

14 The disciples of John the Baptizer approached Jesus with this question: “Why is it that we and the Pharisees fast regularly, but not your disciples?” 15 Jesus replied, “How can the sons of the bridal chamber grieve when the Bridegroom is next to them? But the days of fasting will come when the Bridegroom is taken away from them. 16 And who would mend worn-out clothing with new fabric? When the new cloth shrinks it will rip, making the hole worse than before. 17 And who would pour fresh, new wine into an old wineskin? Eventually the wine will ferment and make the wineskin burst, losing everything—the wine is spilled and the wineskin ruined. Instead, new wine is always poured into a new wineskin so that both are preserved.”

Matthew 6:16–18 TPT

16 “When you fast, don’t look like those who pretend to be spiritual. They want everyone to know they’re fasting, so they appear in public looking miserable, gloomy, and disheveled. Believe me, they’ve already received their reward in full. 17 When you fast, don’t let it be obvious, but instead, wash your face and groom yourself and realize that your Father in the secret place is the one who is watching all that you do in secret and will continue to reward you openly.”

WHEN you fast.

I will be encouraging every church member to incorporate fasting in some form to their spiritual life.

We will continue with morning prayer with a goal to add an additional day of prayer.

DISCIPLESHIP

Matthew 28:19–20 TPT

19 Now go in my authority and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. 20 And teach them to faithfully follow all that I have commanded you. And never forget that I am with you every day, even to the completion of this age.”

You are a disciple, when you become part of discipleship. Our goal is to be someone whom Jesus wants to reproduce.

January 4th, LifeGroup I will be meeting with the first group of LifeGroup leaders for training?

DISCIPLESHIP - LifeGroups, classes - Wed. evenings, and Sunday Mornings prior to service.

OUTREACH

We have a potential opportunity to acquire the Houck building across the street for development in to a community center.

Hope Center - Celebrate Recover and outreach ministries will be relocated to the main campus.

Continued COW herding to the community and communities beyond. In addition, Cody Wightman has a leading form the Holy Spirit which I have blessed, to go door-to-door and follow-up on community outreaches.
