God Surrounds Us, with Righteous People.

Is our Obedience to God’s word consistent. Do we learn form others? What do our children learn from watching us?
Proverbs 28:6 NASB95
Better is the poor who walks in his integrity Than he who is crooked though he be rich.
Ecclesiastes 4:13 NASB95
A poor yet wise lad is better than an old and foolish king who no longer knows how to receive instruction.
Poor is not a sin.
Poor is not God’s displeasure
Poor does not prevent worship
Poor does not have to last forever
Poor does not excuse unrighteousness
Poor is not shameful in and of itself
Poor is the maybe be the cross God sometimes asks us to carry

The Holy Spirit Leads Us, into God’s Purposes.

Simeon was dedicated to obeying God’s word, while depending on the Spirit’s guidance. He was controlled by God’s Word and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

An attitude of gratitude results in worship.
Gossip the Gospel. The purpose of the Gospel is to shine light into the darkness.

And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he, too, is a son of Abraham. “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
We need to pass on God’s purpose for Jesus’ mission.

God Grows Us, as We Go.

Responsible and devout people still make mistakes. How we respond to our missteps reveals how we are growing in God’s grace.
God surrounds us with Righteous people. Are you learning and teaching God’s Word
The Holy Spirit Guides us into righteousness. God’d purposes. Are you telling other of Jesus’ purpose.
God grows us as we go. How do you react when things do not go your way?
