Although Christy makes us laugh in the video, she said something pretty profound just
before her salt and sugar mix up. She said, “Big things can come from really little
places.” Jesus, the ultimate gift of Christmas, came forth from this really little place
called Bethlehem 2000 years ago.

we are called to be grateful for gifts, but if we’re not grateful, don’t expect anything next year; but still they still are unconditional

- inspiration - hope for the hopeless; full stomach for the hungry; power for the oppressed - A THREAT for those who benefit from the status quo. Jesus calls us to lose that. (e.g. Magi give gifts....but also)
