The true saviour

Notes
Transcript
The judgement seat of christ has always been taken out of its true context and in order for us go see its truth we have to understand the Gospel.
All the years and Im not sure we understand the true Gospel
Great white throne is for those that are not written in the lambs book of life
Revelation 20:11–15 ESV
Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
rev 20:
So we see the judgement seat as the pearly gates and when we get there our sins will be brought forth and we will be punished and embarrassed for our sins and then we will get our rewards and enter into heaven. Do yall think that really sounds like something God really will do. well ya but what about this scripture. ya but scripture doesnt contradict each other just our understanding of those scriptures contradict.
Christ was born our saviour, died for past, present, and future sins.
Buried and ressurected so that we may worship a living savior
God punishes us for our sins while here on earth
we are his children he is our father
thats what fathers do
we dont have to worry that when we get to the pearly gates that our sins will be on display. this is not biblical
lets think about this for a minute
37
13505 days old
324120 hours old
216080 awake hours based on 8 hours of sleep
not only will we display the sins to my mother and father, family and friends. teachers, strangers, law enforcement. sins others have seen sins only i know about besides God. sins of jealousy, envy, gossip, greed, and as if that isnt enough we watch a pornographic film of all the lust and adulteress thoughts and actions that i have had in my life
that for one God has already punished me for here on earth and for most and formost he has already forgave me for praise God amen and halleluhar
we will be reminded by the rewards we receive of the good things we did and those that we witnessed to and receive our crowns
Judgement seat comes from the greek word bema which was an elevated platform where victorious athletes went to recieve their crowns. its also used in place such as jesus beind judged under pontious pilate, but in this scripture for sure in an athletic analogy
----------DONE IN THE BODY--------
paul is talking about the actions that we do in our earthly ministry, not our sins. such as good would be witnessing to someone and evil being that i didnt. or maybe that there were things in my ministry that i didnt do in the Glory of God.
Ephesians 1:7 ESV
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,
Romans
Romans 12:1–2 ESV
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Revelation 22:12 ESV
“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.
so what does this mean especially to those silly baptist that believe once saved always saved we can just keep doing the same things even after being saved… sure but your going to face punishment here on earth for it.
peace, health, sadness, depression, financially, loneliness, friendships, relationships, drugs, sex, greed, jealousy, idolatry, work, gluttony, gossip,
your goal after salvation is to obtain the rewards not continuing embellishing your past sins
repent, prayer, fellowship
