It is simply this good intentions versus God. There's a lot of people that have good intentions, but are they got intentions? There's a lot of communities that have good intentions, but are they God intentions? This is where we under need to understand discernment and understand why he gives his discernment because we stay well tap. Hold on a second isn't God good. Absolutely. God is good. And we all said all the time. But the thing is men can have good intentions.

We can have good intentions. And that and as we have good intentions we can get deceived into thinking that their God intentions. There's another one God damn nice. He called us to be Godly.

You guys understand that. List it let me say it again. God didn't call us to be nice people. He called us to be Godly. A lot of times we get into a place that I have to be nice and we put on this front. But at the same time Jesus flipped over tables and made a court in Wentzville.

Do you know when to be nice and when when to be aggressive you understand when to be assertive is a place to be it means that you know, the stand your ground for truth regardless of who's the routes and regardless of who feelings you hurt?

This is the same thing with good intentions versus God. Sometimes it's relievers. We're trying to be so nice. So politically correct. We're trying to fit in to society when God actually called you to stand out in the cold out one. The one this is what God has called us to do and when we are not intentional on doing it, let me tell you this when you're not intentional. You're not going to have progress you're not going to have success. We talked about that last week about being intentional. Why do we meet Marie intentional on the mission that got gifts? I asked that like this is the beginning of 2020 and you like while I'm trying to lose weight or are you intentional about it? No, I just quit eating that but then when I don't eat it for like 2 days, I reward Myself by eating it. I've been there especially with cookies. Thank God Christmas is over so many cookies at my house. But until you get intentional and I'm telling you this hurt reason trying to be a nice person will keep you back from being intentional for the kingdom of God. Because you stay in a place of trying to be nice trying to fit in trying not to ruffle feathers. And you'll miss out on God who says I want to ruffle feathers. Let's look at the Prophet Jeremiah the prophet but I see a man who ever called him God to call a nation to repentance and nobody cares and don't want to listen to him. Got you a crazy thing where he has to make bread Jeremiah. I want you to make bread in front of people and I want you to use human feces, please use animal feces is how Israel has made me feel towards them. They don't come to me if they don't they don't bother me, but they do not do what they did agree to do. What's the definition of priests and because Jeremiah chose something he chose to be a Godly person and not a good person. He chose to be Godly and not nice. So that means you got intentional and he wanted up getting thrown into a well. He wanted it to the place where he said I don't even want to speak anymore. I don't want to share nothing any more people really kill me people laugh at me if you want Mark me they're making fun of me. No one stays with me. I don't even know if I get the same where the wires are got where are the 6011 botany, you know people to hear none of that.

And then then the Holly he got a break for a moment and then they throw back in prison.

But was Jeremiah successful? In God's eyes, Jess and men's eyes. No.

Children Bibles turned it with me to Proverbs 14 and 12. Derek this is scripture that we step. We use a lot of it down a little bit. There is a way that seems right to man to man in a straight before him but the end is the way of death. And then dies man sees one thing and God sees another you can find this again in Proverbs 16 and to all the ways of a man are here in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit the thoughts and intents of the heart and if we do not match up to what God is seeing will go on what man is seen and when we going with Madison guess what we lose heart. We lose sight. We don't actually see the kingdom.

This is story in the Bible about Israel Israel as a nation these they were all yet. Do you always and Nation governed by God. Was the king of this nation and they were in there, They started taking back territories. They had judges they had rulers and stuff, but we want a king. And got a Nintendo's like why are you guys asking for such a think the reason why they wanted a king was because all the other nations they were fighting had a key to govern them had a man has been charged with covering them and they were a nation who had prophets and judges and was governed by God and God himself was the king will they kept railing against the prophet? And he said they said fine fine. I'll give you a king and that they would want to do this, but they would want a king. And so what ended up happening was goddamn a king after their own heart. They saw this man out there. His name was Saul. He was taller than the rest of the people. He had everything go over if you want to put it in this category. He was a supermodel. If you like bodybuilding, he was lost. He was all that in a bag of chips, and he looked right in Man's eyes, but he did not have God's heart because they didn't reject you the prophet. They rejected God as being their King and it and so they had this kid named saw you ever do a character study of Saul in the Bible. You'll find out that he was a very cowardly man. So when you was going to be annoying as king he was hiding. cowardly and then during his life. He didn't listen to God. He always allowed the Judgment of the group or the crowd to outweigh what God is saying so it picks up in Samuel 1st, Samuel 16 and 7 chapter. And got it. Okay. So because you're not following me into peer pressure how many people ever experience your flesh in your life? How do you ever gave into the professional experience in their life? Absolutely. I've been there I've done that but I don't got the t-shirt and I burned it.

Sure, how sure is something that that people use and I'm going to teach you about that. It's a form of manipulation. It's a group of illegal try to exert their thoughts and authority of what they want you to do and get you to a form in a certain way that they would deem good.

So they're out to battle. They're going to war is just going to Warren solve the king, you know, only the priests and prophets were supposed to do certain things. Well, so it wasn't license to do those things nor did he had a Thor t but instead of waiting on God because of the peer pressure around him he gave in and he violated the command of God sake that he wasn't supposed to he didn't kill all entire Army when he was supposed to have tires nation and Village because God said, I'm bringing judgment on them because all the people saw all the fancy things.

And they started seeing those things and souls like why I left these were the people cuz they wanted those things and then that day the prophet came to this day the Lord reject you because you have rejected him.

It's this guy who goes and then he brings all the spoils back and we're like that. So good guy. Look how much he's letting us look at all these good things Rabil to accumulate his eyes. It looked good. But in God's eyes it was found.

So Samuel, God said I'm going to need a new guy to be king over Israel. And this is where this pics of in Samuel 16 and 7 but the Lord look at the height of the Statue for I have rejected him for the Lord sees not as man sees for men looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.

I'm going to find you a new guy a new guy and he's going to be not a guy that looks like he's not going to be a supermodel. He's actually going to be this rugby kid was forgot about on the backside of a other field, which is cheap and he's going to smell like Lambs. You were been around like a sheep. They stink. And then oh my God, I'm your shoot. I guess I stink sometime. Thank God he got some good shears, but he's not cutting my hair.

So so that's David though. So he's out there playing you got the slingshot and the dude is a musical nut. All he does is play his heart and play with his slingshot. So you wouldn't automatically rejected David by what you saw but God saw a man who he saw a boy who was a worshipper and who carries his heart?

Throughout these couple scriptures God trying to get us to see something. How are you Discerning things? How are you this earning things that you're seeing? Because we use the scripture in his true. It says there's a way that seems right to a man. But the weather of his death we use another scripture that says God's ways is not our ways.

But I'm asking you are you willing to make God's way your way.

When you are looking at circumstances people or anything in life, are you using discernment when you're seeing? Are you using your good intentions or are you using God's intentions? I took some whenever I do something I try to think to myself is God in it. That's how I measure and radar thing. If God did it, it's good as God's not in it. I'm drinking coffee.

But that's how I look at things. So I was asking God about what? Okay. What is the degrees of discernment? And this is what he gave me. You need to be able to discern the call of God the plan of God the method of God and the results from God. These are measurable able to discern to understand what God wants to do. The first thing that you want to look at is looking at the call. This identifying God's voice like whenever any anywhere in scripture. This always got speaking to people and then identifying where the voice is coming from. The description that says his many voices in the world. None of them are without significant. Let me. It was none of them. They all carry a sound they all carry two and they all have the meaning behind it. But are you identifying God's voice and your individual life and really together as a church are we identify what God is saying? That's the first level of discernment to know who's speaking. The second one is to know what it's called the will of God. I like to take away the Via. I called the mysticism of it which was like, do you know the will of God? Well, let's change the word will and just totally use plan. Cuz that's really what it means. Do, you know the plan of God and it's in really simple it says do you understand what God wants to do. Do you know what God wants to do?

Well, you're not hearing the voice and identifying you can actually hear or understand what they're saying to you. The third is the method of God. I call it the way like you understand his way art is not always exchange that for a second and say 5th message arnar message. Because the method of men always requires man strength the method of God always requires God's strength and man's obedience. That's what it requires and what this is this answers the how what how God wants to accomplish his plans to is good to understand his voice to know. It's him talking. It's really good. Planning write it down. But we do sometimes in the community and me individually we jumped before we understand the way God wants to accomplish it. Wesley it's the results of God. Got to come after God tells you something after you hear his plan. You identify the voice you hear is plan you follow the instructions. Then you got a way how the results turned out. You have to look back and say hey, is this a learning or is it the testimony or do I keep God how he came through and showed up in a big way what you may say? What is that is what you're telling this right now biblical. Absolutely. Do you know Abraham job with building Idols? Abraham was a Peyton guys. He made Idols that mean he may God's favor if you go to worship and so God uses this idolmaker and says dude get out of your dad's house is going to be some dude's to what's up and some whatever's.

So he said that goes like get out of your dad's house. Quit living on Daddy. Get out of there do not know I want to make you a Father Abraham had to identify the three picks up in Genesis 12. He has to identify the call who's talking to him because if he's hearing his own voice to a man's voice to something you want to pay attention to the call. God gives him a plan get out of your father's house. I want to make you a man of many a man of a huge nation of father of nation. But the thing that Abrahams held at was a method. The thing that we all most times hell that we hear God talk we get excited. We know it's God we get the Holy Ghost bumps or we get that confirmation in our heart that lies exactly at with the scripture that we were reading and we know it's got talkin is God's method 208 Rahab do what we look at Abraham's life. A a a call. He's 75 years old when he hears this call from God save your hands over here ever sees the plan of God in Genesis 12 13 14 15 x 8 Rim 70s. He was 75 when he left. He was 86 through 75 and 86 got a plan for Abraham over and over throughout the years because God's like I want you to really know that this is my plan for you. This is my plan for you. What we've held to see in Discerning is God didn't tell Abraham yet the method of accomplishing the plan. So what ends up happening Abraham's 86 years old. This is found in Genesis. Genesis the 16th chapter and he's hearing God's plan but he's like, okay, you're going to make me a holler mini Nation. You told me to go look out in the sky and see all my distended are going to be as wide as vast as the stars in the sky and as the stand on the on the on the ground. It's no one will be able to number them. But God had yet to get Abraham the mess it the means of accomplishing the plan. So what happened to hear it ring have held at the method because Abraham gets antsy. Abraham's wife. Sarah is like listening. I know God's talking to you. I know that you know God told you're going to be a father of many nations, but let's get real but not have this handmade that we got from you. Remember when you and I decided to lie. Are you said I was your sister I end up having to be captive in Egypt. Maybe God meant for you. Hopefully it was Hagar worth your child. Let me say this. Was it a good thing that she said absolutely was it a common practice during that time? Absolutely. It was a good intention. Just wanted to see Abraham's she wanted to allow Abraham to have a air whether it be through her or through her handmade. It was her call but wasn't a good intention. Yes. It was a popular thing at the time your Vera and don't worry. I got a handmaid. This is what they did. But was it God's intention? What did God tell Abraham listens he ends up procreating with Hagar? He has a son. Do you know after Abraham did that got was silence for 12 years. Didn't talk to him him for 12 years.

When's the last time you heard God speak to you?

On what to do how to accomplish it and where we're at because sometimes when you start hearing God's because you stopped following what he was saying. You stepped out of the plan. He didn't step on God still has a plan for you God's not changing his mind about you. But if you're not hearing God talk, I'm going to ask you for are you in the plan of God? Are you actually in his plan to hear him talk because Abraham didn't hear him talk for 12 years. So 12 years God is silent to him after if he decides to take it into his own hands after he decides to hear. Call hear God's plan and then say I'm going to make it happen. It's a dangerous place to be in your life as Believers. When you try to make God's plan happen through your actions through your own meme. Do your own will power wheel power. That's a dangerous place because God didn't call you to work in your Howard. power

Nor by might but by my spirit says the Lord.

And yet we try to do things in our own strength to accomplish God's kingdom and it doesn't work. It didn't work this so it's not going to work for Abraham. It didn't work for Joseph. What do you mean Justin had these dreams Righteous Brothers rap to his daddy. I'm going to be over you all. Okay? Okay. Well you're going to end up being a slave in it agent you off. That's what happened. You cannot accomplish God planning your strength. It's impossible. And if you do you'll have an Ishmael. Cuz what are Abraham end up having a real music having issues mail and got went silent. But then all the sudden this happen when Abraham was 86 years old. Then at 99.58 Abraham again. That's a long time for me. Not to hear Daddy's voice to be honest. That's a long time for me. Not to hear Papa. Tell me. Hey, let's talk. Let me share this with you again. 99 years old in Genesis 17. She hears God's voice again becomes a rare in the vision and he reiterates a fan for Abraham then God delivers to Abraham the method of the plan. He's like your wife. Sarah is going to carry your child. And it has like one that's what I thought the first time but Sarah told me that I need to go into Hagar and it being good. But was it got? Sagat talks Abraham And in Genesis 2100 years old. Isaac is Warren the promise child that God promised Abraham that when he was 75 years old when God gave him the method it only took one year to have his Isaac. Are you disturbing?

What God is saying to you and how he saying to do it and what and what he saying he wants. Are you deserting it?

Abraham could not believe God Sarah. I certainly didn't I'm not dissing Sarah though. She just didn't believe. Cuz Garden Street to Sarah Goss with Abraham. And so but Abraham a lot with Sarah didn't hear to change what he did here. Do not succumb to what people don't hear to change what you do here, especially if you know in your heart, it's God talking to you when she was calling her mental. They're calling her crazy. They're saying all these things about her and they said, you know this cannot be God. Why would God disrupt our perfect family?

Any Man's eyes that looks well. Why would God disrupt your family tell you to leave and cause all this confusion all this heartache and and drama and your parents household, but my wife she got born again. She heard gone to see begin to follow God and it caused a split in the family.

Just for a season.

But she had to believe that God had a plan. Abraham had to believe God had a plan when you failed to believe that's when you start getting out of the will of God. That's when you cancel out God speaking because you likewise. Have you obeyed the last thing you told you to do? I'm not being mean. I'm just being honest. Have you obeyed the last order of instructions? But you know what? My son comes to me. I said ok Google clean your room. He's like Daddy. Can I have my screen? Did you clean your room clean your room? Did you clean your room? No, go clean your room. We have parents in as adults. That's how we do things. How do you think our father in Heaven does things?

Other times we sell implementing the method. I called the strategy. God has a method for how he does things, but this is what I want us to know about God's message. God message change. God's will to his character is doesn't change but how he wants to do it changes. Here's a story for you Moses in the wilderness. The people were complaining that they don't got water. God tells Moses to strike the rock Moses takes his Rod strike the rock water comes out another time. Now if he were complained again, God tells Moses don't strike the rock speak to the Rock and Moses didn't do that Moses decides to strike the Rock and he said it should we we got to give you water again. So Moses told the boy from God, but you also disobeyed and it cost Moses going into the Promised Land. If you look at the story of Moses. We spell individually talk about me personally and implementing God's method. Are you hearing God enough this here what he wants to do and then to ask him. How do you want to accomplish it? What is the method you want me to how do you want me to come with you and say well tap I get it that you know, I sit down and wait for Holy Spirit to speak. Yes. I want you to wait for Holy Spirit to speak to you. But you had this amazing book that got left has called The Bible and there's some strategies in the Bible that when we Implement those things when we read God's word and he said three simple is my people which are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their Wicked Ways then will I She'll do them. Will I hear them? I will heal their land to forgive their sins. Wow, and that little scripture right there. God just gave me his plan. He wants to get it to heal my land. He wants me to Hello, what's up? You want me to pray he wants you to see if he wants me to turn when I got strategy how many people know that he'll simple strategy and you might not have a budget learn how to budget but how to save money get intentional about it. That's when you know your bank accounts getting healed. How about you do that with relationships? I don't talk to these people that you want to talk to me at that strategy. I wonder if you get intentional. I wonder if the relationship gets you.

I don't want dude. I had to make this simple because who would be really complex. I wouldn't get it. I'm just being honest. So what will you tell at is implementing God's strategies?

Why? Why do we feel there? So often in scripture you can go through people in read and you can see where someone failed their and it was because their intentions were not God's intention. Their intentions was not the way God wanted to accomplish it. And it's all good cuz they had a plan. Here's another story Peter is in this Garden called gets enmity. The best thing that ever happened in Peter's life is being taken away. These guards are coming. They're coming to take his Jesus from him. Peter gets upset you're not taking Jesus know it seem good don't it in the pool is sort out in the fight off. All these soldiers we would have how we like to see it in the action movie. What movie wow that one dude just chill like 10 soldiers to protect this one person. That dude's a monster, right? But Jesus looked at Peter and says Peter that's not the way we're going to do this. Listen pewter. You don't got got the mine in you you still have the mind of man. You still seeing things the way a man sees his intentions of your heart. You got understand Peter. I'm here to implement God's strategy and got strategy. Is this that it pleased him that he would lose his son and pour out the fullness of his wrath on him. So you got him that knew no sin became sin so that we all could become God's righteousness in Christ Jesus. God strategy.

Are you guys following me? This is where we're going to be camped out for the for the upcoming series. We're going to be really camped here deep to talk about discernment because some people think they're just serment is criticalness. Some people use criticism as a sermon that's not discernment. Just because you can true discernment doesn't just tell you what's wrong and tell you how to make it, right. True discernment because it sees Through The Eyes of Grace We're going to die. Then we're going to look at that. We really look at not me and there's a gift called discernment of spirits. I'm all for that. But what I'm not for his you be coming over spiritual and spiritual eyes and everything and what you no longer see a person and see the price got paid for them your discernment must you must have your eyes must be naturally discerned. But you must always use the glasses of Grace to see through. It's when you fail to use the glasses of Grace your vision is no longer 2020.

You must use the glasses of Grace because that's going to help you identify two things. If you don't got glasses contact if you don't got contact sunglasses.

I'm hitting all of we're all included.

But because when you don't do that, you'll go around without seeing Grace and you'll be critical and you'll think it's a gift and that didn't come from God.

We're going to discuss that we're going to discuss on measures of healing we're going to discuss on what it looks like to really repent and what it looks like to do behavior modification.

You guys know what that is behavior modification. It's mean doing the right thing for my own personal reason in game for a matter of time. But after I get what I want, I'm done doing the right thing. It's a deception call behavior modification. And I don't work. We got done working. Tina. So we're going to discuss and break down all of these issues and things and then we're going to learn how to see the grace through it and how to see the Redemptive work of the cross through all those things because the end the end goal of the church is reconciliation for God was reconciling the world back to himself through Jesus, and we now have this message of reconciling the world back to God. That's what it means to walk in Jesus. That's what it means to walk and bear witness and Implement with Jesus has That's when the world looks at you and says this is crazy. It's like Jesus is standing next to me. But it's you while he lives in me. What do you expect? I'm just as house.

I want to tell you something before we close at Sunday that's coming up. We're going to do a 21-day fast.

I'll call next week. I'm going to go over some of them method to fasting some of the things that you can do. Like it doesn't always mean food. You can fasting social media. You can do a partial day fast. You can do it a fruit fast when you just bring eat fruit what we're going to do this cuz God gave me a word. It's funny. They were singing the last song We ended on with Spirit Break Out and the work. God gave me was raped through. Why are we fasting? breakthrough

Break through a lot of times. You want God to move a mountain. We want to use Faith to move a mountain. Sometimes God wants to break through the mountain. So it's never there ever again. And so it never comes back breakthrough. And he gave me a prophetic word. I was here praying in the church. And why was trading as asking God some things in the Lord's so clearly it is why we need identify Godzilla. He said the man of war is coming. He's a 2020 get ready. The men Awards come in. He will be here.

Sometimes when you're paralyzed you may hear something here. Like I don't have no radar for the Manowar. What are we talkin about? Is Rambo going to come through the door? I'm not against Sylvester Stallone coming. But seriously, what is full. What are you talkin about? All the sudden? I'm like, this is biblical. I grab my Bible God say something you lied it up to a guy has already said to make sure it's him talking grab my Bible. There's a story. The children of Israel came up against the Sea called the Red Sea. I called to see you then possibility. It was impossible for them to get through and there's an army behind them chasing them and wants to kill them and recapture some of them but Moses he was going to be dead. And they're at this Red Sea and this is healing possibilities and God told Moses. Take your staff use what's in your hand use your staff. Use this up to staff the waters split and they walk through they break through what was impossible? And after they got on the other side the army that was pursuing them was gone Moses begins to sing the song and the song goes like this the Lord God who is a Man O'War. The Lord is his name. I said Lord, what are you saying to me? Because you gave me this reference point.

Got scissors going to be massive breakthroughs in our lives individually, but collectively as a body there's going to be I'm not going to I can't accomplish it in my strength, and I'm not going to try cuz that's foolish. But God wants to give you break through individually and US court really together. But it's going to take a few people who's willing to implement got strategy to receive breakthrough. The 21-day fast is going to be about breakthrough going to be positioning ourselves to receive it. Just to believe for it but to receive it.

Is your visiting us for the first time? Want to tell you in front of your fusers at connect car. We love to connect with you. Get to know you share with you and just see where you're at in your heart. If you have a request go ahead and fill it out. And we're going to pray now. So why your heads please Jesus?

Honestly you simple we need you we want you we desire you, Phil every area of our life. With your presence with your spirit. And give us understanding discernment and wisdom. And help us to implement everything you say to us. We love you Jesus.

Hey, man. I'm just going to bless you in after this you guys are dismissed. May he keep you may his face shine upon you may God give unto you the good and the fatness of the land and maybe restore all the things the enemy has stolen from you and Jesus name. Amen. Have a blessed Sunday guys.
