Ge 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Firmament = Space.

7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Adam = Earth or From the Earth.
So what God is looking for here is a person
Who is made is his image
that will
faithfully
dudifully
consitantly
obey his word
and thus be a loving representivie
