As we step into the final I AM saying of Christ I think it’s good to see what is happening. This is towards the end of what is known as the farewell discourse.

In just 3 chapters we’ll start to see the events of Jesus death begin to unfold. Jesus knew what was coming so the farewell discourse is him preparing the disciple and those around him for his departure.

When you know someone doesn’t have much time left on this earth you pay attention to what they have to say because that’s typically when people get the most intentional about what they say and that’s usually when they begin saying everything they wish they would’ve said before.
