1. Reflecting on 2019

2019 has been a year of Joy of Growth of excitement of encouragement but also a year of pain of sickness and of Loss

I marvel at the fact that the hand of God in this Church this Last year

When I got here there was 7 of us....... 7 ..................

I didn't know what to expect................ What would happen but I prayed .............

I believed..............

I had Faith.........................

You see God would not uproot a man like me move me across the state for things to just be ok...................

He did it because he was creating something spectacular.................. Now don't get me wrong it has not been easy the Lord and I have been working....................

He had to move some folks out and he has moved some folk in to in what I believe build the foundation of believers here at Faith Baptist Church

Now I know people have new years resolutions , probably many have already failed at them.

I want to put one on you

Make a resolution to spend more time in the word of God start with 5 min a day and progress from there

Make a resolution to pray more to be more open with God not falling into the habit of repetitive meaningless prayer

Make a resolution to serve God in a new way

Make a resolution to know god more intimately not just on the surface as some acquaintance but intimately as I don't know like you love him and cant wait to know more about him

Do this be serious about it and watch how God works in your life and in this Church

Now It has been such a blessing to watch this church grow this year.

In my personal Life The Good Lord has blessed me with another Child my Son Samuel Who I am so proud of.

There has been friendships build allainaces made within the ministries Its been a good year.

Along with those blessings there was some pain along the way...................

In my personal life you may know about the loss of my sister.... the tradgady that took place and the great affect it had on me and my family................ many were effected by the storm last year some battled and are still battling major health complications, family issues and financial crisis in their lives.

2019 Was a blessing

The Devil is a raring lion seeking whom he may devour I know that I know Faith Baptist is on its way because we got the devil acting scared.

WE are dong the Lords work

Count theses trials in our lives as victories in Jesus as we continue to grow towards him as individuals and as a body through Faith Baptist

The Devil is knocking because you are a fighting don't give up now , There is more to be done.

2.Forget about what lies behind you look towards the Future in Christ

Dont look back !

Looking back is a natural tendency for us.

Paul reminds us not to look back but to look forward.

You cannot change the mistakes of yesterday anymore that you can cling to blessings of last year you must look forward.

Many of us miss our blessings today because we are focused on yesterday either in the bad things we experienced or we relish in how God once worked in our lives so we think he surly will always work this way.

When you live in the past you are a strong candidate of depression anxiety anger or rage, let go of yesterday and look towards the future.

3.Launching into 2020

I look forward to the Future the newness of Life of Hope Of Purpose

I pray continually as should you that the Lord would breath life into the church that we would see new families Children come to the saving grace of God

That Faith Baptist would be the light house of Hamilton That the new sanctuary would not be the Goal but that the Goal would be never ending untill the Lord comes Home always pressing forward to the Goodness of God

I pray We would each bear witness to that of Christ Being the example of Him

As we are the Salt of the earth, no longer remaining lukewarm or as mere babes in Christ but passionate warriors of the one true God through that of Jesus striving to reach the lost within this community

So let us put away our former lives let us live the life that God wants for us a life in Him filled by Him led by Him devoted to Him in Service to Him That We would be filled with the Hope that comes by Him, The love that is in Him, The Joy that radiates from with in Him, The Peace that only He can offer

Let our your Hope be in Christ this morning

Let us not just cry out to God for Help but have the faith that God will provide

The Man stood and walked it was by His faith This man waled just like the bleeding woman it was her faith You must have Faith in Jesus not in your self, So to grow this Church we must go out in the streets tell those that are lost bring them to church and have Faith that God is with us and He will bring forth those whom He has called.
