Introduction
Good Morning!
My name is Danny Watton and I am your service pastor.
I want to thank you all for coming this morning!
It’s important that you’re here!
It’s important because the Bible calls us to gather together for worship as the body of Christ.
To hear His Word and for mutual edification.
The Bible says,
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am among you”

The Bible says,
God is with us right now.
God loves us so much that He cares for us personally.
So while we are praising God in Worship as we just did He was here with us.
So thank you for being here as my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to Worship the One True God with me.

I pray that you had a wonderful Christmas and New Years and that you were able to enjoy some time away with family or just got to have a break from the craziness that accompanies this time of year.
During the Christmas season we took a break from Deuteronomy and we were blessed by going through advent.
We got to see how God sent His son Jesus Christ to save us from most certain death.
And made a way for us to have salvation and experience His love for eternity.
We are going to pick it back up in Deuteronomy and glean treasure that is more valuable then gold or any gem that we could find from His Word that He sent to us today.

8 “You shall therefore keep the whole commandment that I command you today, that you may be strong, and go in and take possession of the land that you are going over to possess,9 and that you may live long in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers to give to them and to their offspring, a land flowing with milk and honey.
10 For the land that you are entering to take possession of it is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and irrigated it, like a garden of vegetables.
11 But the land that you are going over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water by the rain from heaven,
12 a land that the Lord your God cares for.
The eyes of the Lord your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.
13 “And if you will indeed obey my commandments that I command you today, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, 14 he[a] will give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the later rain, that you may gather in your grain and your wine and your oil.
15 And he will give grass in your fields for your livestock, and you shall eat and be full.
