This is a sinkhole in my Floridian hometown of Chiefland, FL.
This sinkhole started out only be 3 ft wide and not very deep.
Come to find out that the Sinkhole was 50ft wide and 60 ft deep!!!
This came out in 2014. Back when I was a kid the was the local wally world! This was our parking spot!!!
What do you think is going to happen to this sand castle?

What Words?

The Sermon on the Mount.

Starts at and ends at today’s passage!
The Sermon on the Mount becomes one of the “how to live for Jesus.”

The Foundation Matters

Matthew here is saying that those who are not just listen to Jesus’ teachings but actually puts His words to practice will indeed be building a house on a solid foundation.
We often focus on building the house, and making it look all pretty. But what happens if you build the house on the wrong foundation?

The Wise Builder

The one who not only hears, sees, or talks the Gospel, but does, learns, and lives out the Gospel in such a way that the Gospel becomes our very nature.

The Foolish Builder

The one who only hears, sees, and talks the Gospel, but refuses to put the Gospel into practice!

The Wise and Foolish Builders!

The Wise Builder builds his house on the solid foundation of Christ, while the foolish one rejects the foundation and builds in on the Sands of this World.
The Wise Builder’s House is able to weather the storms that this life throws at us, while the Foolish Builder’s house comes crumbling down around them.
These are the people who look up and see that their life as completely has fallen apart and there is nothing left.
For Christians, when storms come, the wind blows, the rain falls, and the lighting strikes, but no matter what their house is on a firm foundation.
Honestly, our house can even fall and as long as we have a firm foundation we can always rebuild!!!

Good News

It never too late to rebuild on the Solid Rock of Christ!

New Years Resolution!
