Lamentations 3:40–41 ESV
Let us test and examine our ways, and return to the Lord! Let us lift up our hearts and hands to God in heaven:
Lamentations 3
2 corinthians 13
2 Corinthians 13:5 ESV
Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!
Galatians
Galatians 6:4 ESV
But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor.
2 Corinthians 13:5 ESV
Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!
2 Corinthians 13:5
Any ideas of where you would like to go this year?
How did your faith hold up through 2019
Glad its over?
Did you ever think you would see the year 2020
Why or why not
We all know im not big on resultions. they are just made to be broken anyways.
But we as a church should reflect back on our year end review and our goals that we see going forward.
as a church but also as individuals.
self exmination shouldnt be yearly though they should be daily so that we keep ourselves focused on the task at hand.
Hebrews
Hebrews 2:1 ESV
Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it.
Hebrews
Hebrews 3:12–14 ESV
Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.
