The start of a new year is always a good time to consider the continuous choice we are called to make: will we serve the Lord, or will we fall to the pressure we are put under by the world to reject God? Towards the end of his life, Joshua called upon Israel to make the choice as to whom they will serve. The same challenge is ours today: whom shall we choose to serve?
