1 Corinthians 3:16–23 ESV
16 Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple. 18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness,” 20 and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” 21 So let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, 23 and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.

1- WHO ARE WE?

1 Corinthians 3:16 ESV
16 Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?
1 CORINTHIANS
WE ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD.
HOW DO WE WANT TO ADORN THE TEMPLE?
THIS IS WHY WE TRY TO LEAD GODLY LIVES.
THIS IS WHY IT IS OK TO HOLD EACH OTHER ACCOUNTABLE.
THIS IS WHY WE DISCIPLE EACH OTHER.
1 Peter 1:15 ESV
15 but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,

2- IS IT OK FOR THE WORLD TO THINK YOU’RE AN IDIOT?

1 Corinthians 3:18–20 ESV
18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness,” 20 and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.”
James 1:5 ESV
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
JAMES
1 CORINTHIANS 3:18-

3- WHO DO WE SUBMIT TO?

1 Corinthians 3:21–23 ESV
21 So let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, 23 and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.
1 CORINTHIANS 3:
1 CORINTHIANS 3:20

The remedy for divisions in the church is the recognition that all gospel servants—even prominent figures such as Paul … Apollos, or Cephas—are not their own, but belong to Christ, who in turn belongs to God. In this light, servants must never become a distraction to the church, and believers must never mistake them for the Master.

Hebrews 13:17 ESV
17 Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.
HEBREWS
Ephesians 5:21 ESV
21 submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.
EPHESIANS
1 Peter 5:5 ESV
5 Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
James 4:7 ESV
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Luke 22:42 ESV
42 saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”
