Men are in the hand of God.

For I have taken all this to my heart and explain it that righteous men, wise men, and their deeds are in the hand of God. Man does not know whether it will be love or hatred; anything awaits him.

For I have taken all this to my heart and explain it that righteous men, wise men, and their deeds are in the hand of God. Man does not know whether it will be love or hatred; anything awaits him.
2 It is the same for all. There is one fate for the righteous and for the wicked; for the good, for the clean and for the unclean; for the man who offers a sacrifice and for the one who does not sacrifice. As the good man is, so is the sinner; as the swearer is, so is the one who is afraid to swear.
3 This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that there is one fate for all men. Furthermore, the hearts of the sons of men are full of evil and insanity is in their hearts throughout their lives. Afterwards they go to the dead.
4 For whoever is joined with all the living, there is hope; surely a live dog is better than a dead lion.

5 For the living know they will die; but the dead do not know anything, nor have they any longer a reward, for their memory is forgotten.
6 Indeed their love, their hate and their zeal have already perished, and they will no longer have a share in all that is done under the sun.
7 Go then, eat your bread in happiness and drink your wine with a cheerful heart; for God has already approved your works.
8 Let your clothes be white all the time, and let not oil be lacking on your head.
9 Enjoy life with the woman whom you love all the days of your a fleeting life which He has given to you under the sun; for this is your reward in life and in your toil in which you have labored under the sun.
Whatever Your Hand Finds to Do
10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no activity or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol where you are going.
11 I again saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift and the battle is not to the warriors, and neither is bread to the wise nor wealth to the discerning nor favor to men of ability; for time and chance overtake them all.
None of us knows what tomorrow brings, love or hate, good or bad. We can’t control what we get, but we can control what we give. We can control us , we can decide how the day goes by our choices.
Anything can happen, the major difference between all of is how we respond to live situations and challenges. Stand and fight or run and hide. Even doing nothing is a choice.
We are all subject to God’s laws whether we believe in Him or not. My Bible tells me that its the same for all. There is on fate for the righteous and for the wicked; for the good , for the clean and for the unclean, for the man who offers a sacrifice and for the one who does not sacrifice.
All of our hearts are full of evil and insanity, but we can decide what to do with it. its called free will. as long as we are alive we have hope and can change our circumstances. We don’t get a second chance after death.
Some people deny death, hoping against hope that it will not happen to them. there are stories of people freezing them selves so that they can be preserved and brought back to life after the technology is invented.
Some people ignore death, pretending that it is not coming. But Solomon says the right approach is to recognize that death is coming and live differently because of it.
Either we don’t really believe that there is a heaven and a hell or live after death. Maybe we still believe that we are just not good enough to get too heaven so we give up trying. If this is the case then you are so very wrong.
You are the proof that you know, your wrong. The fact that you are here right now testifies to the fact that you still have hope. That you still want to go to heaven even though you not quite sure its real.
You just need to give all of you to God. Quit holding back, picking and choosing which of God’s laws you want to obey. You see being Christian is a full time job. Its not your side hustle your part time job.
We have to come to God with an open heart and open mind and say to Him. Lord here i am standing in your will. Here I am Lord in need of you. Here I am Lord seeking your face. here I am Lord struggling with sin. Here I am Lord struggling with temptation. Here I am Lord broken and defeated but stoned in love with you. Here I am Lord giving you the only thing I have to give. Here I am Lord giving you all of me. Here I am Lord giving you every word, act and every thought. Here I am Lord asking for your forgiveness.
We should embrace the days God gives us and live them to the fullest; eat every meal as if it were a banquet, celebrate everyday as though it is a party, live everyday we are married as though we are on our honeymoon, and work everyday as though it is our final achievement. Life doesn’t always turn out as we would like. As the scripture says:
The race is not always to the swift, but we are grateful for each day we are given, we will live well and end our days satisfied.
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all you might do it to the glory of God.
Time is filled with swift transition, Naught of earth unmoved can stand, Build your hopes on things eternal. Hold to God’s unchanging hand.
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all you might do it to the glory of God.
