We are going to be nailing two words into you for the next two weeks. We want to do this because the better you understand the relationship between the two, the better you understand this the better your life will be.

The book of Philippians is easily one of, if not my favorite book of the Bible. You guys here me quote all the time. It is an encouraging book filled with principles of every day life. They arent just feel good principles, but they are principles modeled by Christ.
The key passage I want us to keep coming back to this series is
The New International Version Chapter 4
11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
Who remembers Tim Tebow. Not picking on him but.....
This is not a sports verse. Yes we can use application. But this is talking about persecution and hardships and being content in Christ
When we can see Christ for his fullness, we will be content and that will bring us joy
