• 2:5-6 expands 1:20—beyond Christ to us

God’s purpose, v. 7-10

• Relative to eternity, v. 7

• Relative to time, vv. 8-10

Good works

• Walking in good works—these are predefined in the Word

• Doing good works—our activity (things done that have eternal value)
