Everyday Wisdom Part 4
Everyday Wisdom Part 4
Kidz World Today - Children’s Church
16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
Confession of Faith
I am not moved by what I see or by what I feel. I am moved by what I believe. I believe the WORD of God! The victory is mine! I have it now! I can see it through the eyes of my faith! In Jesus name
Live to Learn vs Learn To Live
Treat Yourself Well
12 Commit yourself to instruction; listen carefully to words of knowledge.
Wise people do all they can to learn from the instruction and knowledge of others.
Instruction (musar) is actually the correction of foolishness through chastening.
In the midst of these proverbs, a reminder is issued… to listen carefully to every word to learn from the reproof given to live what is being taught
15 Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!
The Scripture is able to make us wise
15 You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus.
16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
22 But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.
23 For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror.
24 You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.
25 But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.
(). Notice that it imparts wisdom through… doctrine or teaching reproof or rebuke correction instruction in righteousness

Treat Life With Respect
We must treat others fairly and treat ourselves with wisdom. This will gives us direction on how to handle problem situations.
5 The wise are mightier than the strong, and those with knowledge grow stronger and stronger.
6 So don’t go to war without wise guidance; victory depends on having many advisers.
Prov. 2
10 If you fail under pressure, your strength is too small.
11 Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.
Prov
The Christian life is a battleground, not a playground.
Believers battle three great enemies: the world, the flesh, and the devil
15 Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.
16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.
The New Testament repeatedly compares our lives to a military campaign. Therefore, we must fully clothe ourselves in the armor of God, and arm ourselves with God’s Word and prayer in order to be victorious
10 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.
12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.
14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.
15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.
16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.
17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
Ep
The battle is a spiritual one, and it must be fought with spiritual weapons
Adversity, trouble, and pressure are the trials of life and reveal how strong you are.
A modern proverb says, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.”
This is the meaning of this proverb. Trials reveal a person’s strength.
Strength means firmness or vigor. Strong people stand firm when trouble strikes.
This proverb implies that a person who falters in the face of trouble is unwise, because wisdom produces strength (v. 5)
15 He said, “Listen, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Listen, King Jehoshaphat! This is what the Lord says: Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
