Limitless Mercy and Grace 1/19/20 HOME CAMPUS

I'm so thankful for you guys coming down. We love you guys and they are going to be a part of our worship from now on so we just went to when I pray for them and thank them for coming and being a part. So today I'm going to try my best to go through a few announcements. My voice is almost gone. What we're going to do the best we can so what an awesome place to be I think when you go through something like this, you're rattled like I'm shaking inside. I don't know what to do. I've seen moving in people today. I want to thank you guys for responding. I don't ever want you to feel like you have to do something. But in those kind of moment when when God sends a vision or picture to you and you see what needs to happen in this place. It's pretty awesome when it happens and watching Brady and Todd and all the way down to Taylor and Mary Lacy and then we got Allison add are Melissa and Miss Elizabeth and Christy all Hands-On forward to you guys and watching that knowing that their needs in your life right now that you're praying for all of you that God will answer those don't give up Don't Stop Don't Stop Believing because he will answer those needs in your life those holes that Stillness that place that you feel like it is empty. God will feel that I promise you he will I'm living That God will fill this place is just last night just having a little talk with some people like you can ask you can ask clay and Brady there was a hole in their life and they didn't know why we didn't know why I moved here. You have no idea but God had to call and to watch this young man go from not looking or speaking hardly at all to watch me and lift at 10 watching him jump in the ministry and just follow God it is awesome to watch what God can do have a couple of weeks ago. Josh is like so quiet and reserved and has a prayer that he pray in our staff meeting. I mean just watching God is awesome to be able to watch that. It's almost like a proud mama moment. You know what I mean like you get to watch that is your own life, and I know I'm not your mom and I'm not known you that long but I'm so proud of you and I'm so thankful for what God is doing in your life cuz it's it is huge. You got to step into that and walk in that it's so let's remember that today. I'm just in time an awesome place today. Austin place of each have a feeling it's going to be good cuz it's up in here. You should pray about that during the week so that when you come on Sunday. Has your heart ready? Maybe it's a zero. Maybe your way of giving is because maybe it's not monetary. Maybe it's something on that connects part of a couragement. They think outside the box God is not in a box kind of God. He's not in any way. It's giving worst. Whatever. Okay. Alright. This is the third week in our series of Limitless Limitless grace and mercy today. How many grad glad for the grace and mercy of God? Hey man, we got to have it as well. Talk about more and hear God. I hope everybody is doing super. Well, we are on the third week of our prayer and fasting time. I hope you've been watching out on social media or videos. We put up talking about the subjects and I hope that's been encouraging you helping you. We got to remember that we need to at this last week. So I'm asking you guys I'm encouraging you guys to dig and dig a Little Deeper. We got one more week left bicep pull through cuz what we're doing is we're setting the tone for the year. And not only we sitting at home for 2020, right? I wish that the tone for the next decade come on. We're setting the tone for the next 20 years. I don't know but this starts right now, so I encourage Took a dig in even deeper. So first weight limits Limitless Faith second week Limitless wisdom today Limitless grace and mercy guys next week. We're going to talk about a limitless. Come on at the game. We going we go do some special we're going to get out of the series and we'll go do something else but we are excited about what we're doing right now. Let's get right into it Matthew 19:26 has been over this series. So it says with man this is impossible but become one With God all things are possible, All right, so I like to start out a lot done it this way. I like to to find words at so we can understand a little better with it. Cuz if you really say Mercy Grace, I know what they mean, but do you really know what they mean. I've just been serious. Let me know. How do you say that Grace is undeserved favor of God grace is undeserved favor of God, Mercy is compassion there two different things Grace is undeserved that says unknown. Did which means undeserved undeserved favor his grace? We don't deserve it. But he gives his Mercy is compassion. Thank you. Baby. Mercy is compassion. God has compassion on us. I heard your people say many times that that emotion should be outside of the church have like no doubt. I fill it with only my God is an emotional God. He has he has compassion on us. So I believe we are to translate that into our lives and have compassion at half past ssion for other people because God does the very same thing Mercy is the act with holding a deserved end Mercy Mercy is the act of withholding a deserved and Grace is the act of giving an undeserved favor. Okay. Did you get that Mercy is the act of withholding a deserved and Grace is the act of giving undeserved favor release it like this and its mercy. God does not give us what we deserve understood. Ennis mercy. God doesn't give us what we deserve in his grace. God gives us the gift. We do not deserve so they're two different things Mercy a compassionate love that that leads us to to to to the grace to be saved. If God hadn't had compassion on us. I mean y'all know they probably won't be real. I mean he had to have that that compassion. All right. So we all need to seek this Mercy. We need to seek this Grace. We need to seek forgiveness from God and that comes through Grace that your faith and his grace and mercy. So let's start with the 2nd Corinthians 12:9. A lot of people might know this if you've been in church for any amount of time Paul asked God to take his storm in the flesh away, but it says but he has said to me my grace is sufficient for you. I put the Amplified version here are we got scripture today? All right. I'm about a block in Atlanta, but he said my grace is sufficient for you the Amplified. A little deeper my loving kindness and mercy are more than enough always available regardless of the situation my mama, that's a good thing cuz I know that we serve a god of a second third fourth fifth go on to those chances that if that we're not have been so would not have been so I wouldn't be here today. I'd be doing something else some would argue that Grace and that Mercy are only seen in the New Testament and not in the Old Testament of the Bible or this is simply not true his grace and mercy is seen all throughout his word. The Bible is actually filled with stories of God using imperfect people to accomplish his purpose by God showing them Grace and showing them mercy and let me just give you a few examples. I want to talk about this one just a little bit dig into him. I mean y'all know and it will have heard of David in the Bible. That's that's probably one of them is one of the most prominent names you'll hear in the Old Testament. He he he can find a story. If you don't know around or Samuel thing starts around 16 goes on to say I guess I mean about adversity chapter 2 in 1st Kings and you can read all about David. He was actually called a man after God's Own Heart. I would love to be called that. I would love to be called a man after God's Own Heart. I like to think that that's what I am. I like to think that that's what we are. We have a shirt should be after God's Own Heart. It says it in first Samuel 13:14 of the prophet Samuel tells King sauce at the Lord of sought out for himself a man David after his own heart and Paul even says the same thing over the book of Acts 13:22. It said God removes all replaced it with David a man about whom God said, I found David Son of Jesse a man after my own heart. He'll do everything I wanted to do when we think of David we think of probably Me personally, I think two stories come to mind when we start right here. He's no really well to be involved with a lady named by sheebah. All right is know really well for that since 2nd Samuel chapter 11. Let me set it up just a little bit tell you exactly what he's done. So we can understand how good and powerful the grace and mercy of God. Has he stayed back one time in Jerusalem David's King. He's normally the time to go out and fight War but what David did he stayed back when he should have went he sent joab hit his his lead his army leader in the Israelite Army instead. So I David did he stayed back at the Castle Kingdom house and he took him a mid-day nap he woke up. He's stretching went out on the roof look across the way and he saw a woman taking a bath a bath. I don't know. Why would they were bath and outside but that's how did it then? All right. I might a bath in bathing. Sorry. I don't know how that many kind of want to put a curtain up baby. I don't know you seen outside, but he looked across the weight and he saw her and he became very intrigued with her. So we sent someone to get her name. They come back with her name. Her name is basheba. And that is a husband of Uriah. So super important then David does this he sends messages to get her cuz he's the king he gets what he wants. I need you to go get this woman when she came back to the to the Palace. He slept with her. We all know what that mean. We're old here. We're adults. We understand what happened. He slept with her. All right. She became pregnant. This is David King David. All right, she became pregnant. So you're right at the time this happened was at Battle which was her husband. Okay, so David sends word to send you a ride back home cuz he got a plan because he knows she's pregnant now. So like this ain't looking good on David because she's married to this guy day was over that shouldn't happen. So what he does he sense for your ride to come back home. He came David greeted him loved on him. He said go home and be with your wife has family even send him a gift to his house your I did not however go home. He stayed at the palace door and King David comes out his I didn't work for me, but why don't you go home? So he said I listen night my joab in the army with her. I can't do that. I'm a soldier. I got to stay here. So what David says he's like, okay stay one more night with us and a David got him plastic got drunk. So he thought I'd get this guy drunk. He's going to go home and not think about it. So I guess him drunk and your ride does the same thing even in a drunken State? He stays by the door. He still slept there. So listen to this this is what they already scheming that David is doing he does this. He says he writes a letter to Joe Webb and he sent it by Uriah. So, okay, so writes a letter. This is what the letter was about. It said to put your eye on the front line where the battle is the fiercest and pull back so he will be killed. All right, so David sent letter by the man he was wanting to kill to give to the commander so that he could be killed. That's just a slap in the face. Can you don't death letter you write was killed and a David did all of this to cover ups in he wanted to cover up his mistakes. He was corrected. I ain't going deeper into the Bible is corrected consequences happen. But we can all see that he was not a perfect man. You can you agree. Somebody say amen. He was very human. Just like I am very human. We are very human. We all make mistakes, but this is also the David. That you might know the story of that took care of Goliath. This is a different story. It says in 1st Samuel 17 45 to 47. I want to read this to you. But this is the same David that done all of that that done this it says you come to me with a sword on David's talkin to Goliath. You come to me with a sword and Jabba but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Heaven's armies the god of the armies of Israel whom you have to file today. The Lord will conquer you I will kill you I'll cut off your head and then I'll give you the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals animals in the whole world will know that there is a God and Israel and everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people but not with a sword and spear. This is the Lord's battle and he will give you to us glass began to run towards David and David ran towards him David reached into his Shepherds bag and grab the stuff and he's almost 10 ft giant mantis filicide. Go ahead. Does it suck dick Goliath fell David ran over put his foot on his chest and pulled the sword from his own place and he cut that guy's head off the last kill vagina. Come on the same David that trusted God. Then that same first story. There's a big contrast. Would you not agree?

David was a mighty man of God. It was not perfect. But God used him to accomplish his will because God has Grace. And God has Mercy.

David lusted he committed adultery heat. He murdered his part of killing people but God still use David. He wrote most of the book of Psalms who unified the tribes of Israel May Jerusalem, the capital of Israel a nation. He is considered to be Israel's greatest King still. He was a flawed man that needed the grace and mercy of God. That's David the grace and mercy of God is all throughout the Old Testament. What about Abraham, he was afraid and he lied to Genesis 22 his wife. Sarah is his sister because he's afraid King. What's his name king abimelech would kill him because they wanted her to lie lie, he was scared. He didn't trust God but he is the original patriarch of Christianity. God still had mercy and Grace on him and stupid used Abraham to be the father of Nations. Come on. What about Sarah his wife? She was impatient. How many guys can be at me all to be impatient? I am impatient. I don't like to wait but sometimes we have to wait because God says Then that huh. Come on waiting is okay and it improves our Paces with Sarah. She was too in pesos. He got to promise that she would be a mother of nations in Genesis. 17 16. Sarah was ninety years old y'all 90 years older The Works probably don't work no more than two years old and she thought of that she thought of that so she did not believe the promise that God give she had not even been able to Bear children. So guess what Sarah did she tried to do God's work for him. She gave Abraham. These are real stories. She's gave Abraham her servant Hagar to have children and birth a male child that later Saturday at Birth Isaac. We all know Isaac Abraham Isaac, we all know him but we understand that she's not perfect. She messed up she tried to do God's work. Still have mercy and Grace on her. Guess what God did to her. He did what he said he was going to do. She was the mother of many nations through her the ridge. The 12 tribes of Israel down the line. We're Birth. Come on the mercy and the grace of God is prevalent Moses was stubborn. He was doubtful. He didn't think he was the man for job Exodus 14. He led the great Exodus of the Israelites out of Egypt and a cross the Red Sea come on. We know the Red Sea story that if they went across on dry land because the Lord has made it that way in a path. It didn't even get money. It was driving and and he said I ain't able to do this, but God still used Moses. By his grace and by his Mercy, I want to give you one more this one this one. I like this one in the Old Testament. They will move on.

How many guys know Brady have? all right, Ray have her is what she is a prostitute that that significance is Canaanites were hated enemies of Israel. Okay. Also, she was a liar. She was a liar. She lie for two spies that Joshua has sent so they can stay safe that they wanted Jericho checking it out. So she lied for them in return. She asked for her family to be unharmed when they came and took Jericho know when the Israelites took Jericho God spared her and her family. She was not a perfect person. But still she found the grace and mercy of God. I'm telling you right now that there is no limitations to how God can come into your life and wipe away all those bad things to give you a clean slate to live by Alyssa. He says as far as the East is from the West that I didn't remember that no matter where the one that remembers it. Don't remember it no more. He said that's far as the East is from the West your sins are forgotten. The same guy that did it for Rehab is the same God that can do it for us. Just Mercy his grace know. What about the New Testament, You guys know soft. He was a persecutor yet gotten pecan bird attempts to name of Paul, but he was the Apostle of Christ the author of nearly half the New Testament Paul saw he killed Christians. He hated done what they stood to be killed Christians, but he was still transform and found the mercy and the grace of God Peter. He had a bad temper. He denied Jesus yet got used him to prison over 3,000 was safe just mercy and Grace is prevalent in the book and it's prevalent in this life Thomas. Was it down there yet. God used him to preach according to the traditions and India Indonesian Mary Magdalene. She was demon-possessed yet. God graciously gave her the wonderful chance of being first to witness the Risen Christ. Mary Magdalene, come on, Martha Martha was Restless. She was Restless. Also allow her to be among the first Witnesses of the resurrection of Christ and she didn't just see one dead body ratio. Saw Lazarus raised from the dead did she saw true mercy and Grace the thief on the cross was forgiven that day and Jesus said today in Paradise. You'll be with me. That's mercy and that's Grace and let me give you one more example and there's me. I have tasted of the merciful and the grace of God. I am unfit unworthy to be called a child of God, but by God's marvelous Mercy a disgrace listen to I am no longer in darkness. I am in the lot. We have a lot of the world. Listen, I'm told I'm chosen I'm a saint I'm a server. A soldier. I'm a witness and I don't Let's go. I'm a citizen of heaven and Ambassador for Jesus child Victorious. Come on. Give him the praise.

Unworthy and unfair to be called a child of God, but that's exactly what I own it if you're here today and you've been Blood Bought and born again, you are a child of God and that's a big deal child of God created the heavens and the Earth and hung the Stars exactly where he wanted them. And he says see the ocean to stop right here. He laid out to the blueprints and what he wanted to do and he spoke it and cable out the same. God has Mercy for you.

Good God, I love God.

There's two things I notice about. about all these examples I call him the unmentionables. The unmentionables number one first thing I said, there's no limits. What do you mean Lamentations? 3 2223 says the faithful love of the Lord never ends. Come on his mercies Nabors greatest his faithfulness his mercies begin fresh every morning. There are no limits put on the grace and mercy of God. It is endless is always available. No matter what the situation is. There's no limits for everybody. I just talked about it's still there. His grace is sufficient. No matter the valley. His grace is sufficient. I don't care what simple life you're living. His grace is sufficient. Listen God's grace will always be available. You will don't do no more or no less to make him. Love you more or less. Love is producers mercy and Grace.

The second thing I see very prevalent throughout these it's been in women Bible in myself even it's no restrictions his number to no restrictions Romans 3 22 through 24. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus. And guess what? It says. This is true for everyone who believes no matter who we are there are no restrictions. There are no restriction a rule that says you've done too much wrong to receive that Mercy. There's no restrictions. There's no reason you can't do too bad to get away from God. He's always there is always loving you. We all fall short of his standards if it's for everyone no matter what you've done today is for everyone no matter what you doing right now today. Maybe you coming off a drunk from last night's alright grace and mercy still available. Come on. You made a big of a drug run last night. I don't know. I've been there done that. I've been that guy. They don't matter his grace and mercy is right here right now and is able to be had by you. my goodness

Can I get a time check what we got?

So I think we all can agree and understand. the grace of God in the mercy of God is amazing

By God's grace in my faith and believing. He showed mercy on me and he's save my sofa.

So this grace and his Mercy is so good. And sometimes it's overwhelming and unbelievable. Let me try to help you guys like I got this was hard to read because it's just so good. I didn't know what God but I got clear. I think what God wants you to hear. How do we respond? To Mercy and Grace it is so good house. We as mere humans respond to the mercy and the grace of God will number one. We need to acknowledge our needs for grace and mercy, we need to acknowledge our needs for grace and mercy to embrace the mercy of God and the grace of God. We got to realize that is xiumin. We're all messed up. We all jacked up. We just we just shoot him and nobody is able to meet God standard of perfection. I said a minute ago Romans 3:23. We all fall short of God's glorious standard yet God in his grace freely makes us riding his side. We got to understand that we need to be humble and it cuz it says in James 4:6 he gives Grace generously as a scripture say God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Come humbly before God when I begin to think of Law and Grace listen to this Romans 5:20. It says all that passing laws against sin did was produced more lawbreakers that said hey though, this is wrong and it gave I go for people to mess it up all that that's what the law did but we guess what but send it and does not have a chance in competition with the aggressor forgiveness that we call Grace when it's Saint first is Grace. Come on when Grace wins hands down Grace wins, every single time. There is no clothes running in the race. Grace wins. Every single time. Come on the grace and mercy of God. It is needed by more than just us. This is why we're here. To teach the goodness of God to not only starting ourselves, but to reach the city of Southaven if I listen I said it last night to you guys. I say we going to change the world. I mean it I believe 100% that we are World changes here today. We may be small in numbers. But listen Jesus, 12 people that was still talk about him. I promise you that if God is in it, it can be done.

The world we live in is broken. We need to not become obsessed with what I cells and things in this world cuz cuz when we do we don't do that. It's just our Focus. For a human Center that's a lot of us and I've struggled with it. You know how I did this I done that right? But once we did not get obsessed with those things we get a knowledge God's sovereignty over all things. You don't need to be obsessed with whirl mercy and Grace frees us from perfectionism mercy, and Grace frees us from a prideful and rebellious heart mercy, and Grace is so good to have it is only by the Lord's mercy and Grace that we could live today. Come on. The first season of God have caused us to be right here in Concorde Career College and have a service today and feel the presence of God like we do right now his Mercy his grace.

number two

accept God's grace and mercy is how you respond.

There is a deep desire in humanity for freedom. Come on, it is really want freedom. And we all know that people are happy when receiving something good for free free stuff like free food free money free stuff. We all like it dirt-cheap all good Lord. Y'all trying to break it up and she goes to dirt cheap. I mean the last time you had got those boxes star leg sticking out of it one day sit down in it. Do you like dirt cheap? The good news guys that God has offered his mercy and Grace for free my goodness. You don't have to pay a dollar for it. He says his mercy and grace are free the Son of God. It's already done all that. We need for our Salvation Romans 6:23. I think we know it if you work hard for your seeing your whole life and your pension is death SF the wages of sin is death, but that's just a different version says but God's gift is real life eternal life delivered by Jesus. We need to accept the mercy in the grace of God. We are saved not because we're good, but calls God is good today. Nothing. I've done it because God is good. God is good. God. God is good.

He took care of it. I'll have to do nothing else. All we got to do is receive except his Mercy is Grace. God knows that not only do we love something free but come on. We love something free and it says this right here. He says through Jesus. We are given a new holy life 1st Peter 1:3. Just where is found in the mercy is given us new life. We are reborn to experience a living energetic. Hope this is come on we have an energetic and I never understood it. Maybe I am wrong. I don't know. I don't think I am but I went to the things that God has done for me. The things that God has saved me from the things that guess what not the things that are going to be in heaven at the things that are not going to be in heaven. I am happy to celebrate come on that God is good, and I'm happy to be here for my Jesus. I don't understand just a I want to stay in this. The whole time I bet I've been there. I have the eastern regional but I don't understand it, but that's okay. Was saved and God give me Life in abundance of life. I've always been a hopper young anyway, so it comes got a naturally.

Hope energetic. Hope it's a great privilege to live for him.

Why we walk with him the good things this he'll continue to to dish out and will continue to experience his grace and Glory continuously Psalm 84:11. He gives us Grace. It gives us Glory will experience that while we walk with him and we will find our help in time of need because God does not just save you and give you your salvation and gives you power. It gives you Authority but they does not just save you and then say all right, you got this now he has an ever lasting supply of mercy and Grace and Truth and love you will experience it as you walk with him and you'll find help in your time of need Hebrews. 4:16 says I'll let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God our gracious God there. We will receive his mercy and we will find Grace.

To the throne of our undeserved favor of God, that's what we got. Then we were received his compassion and we will find undeserved favor to help us when we need it. Most come on. Listen God has this for us and we do not deserve it. That's just that's just human nature. We as humans we failed that and we don't deserve it. But God paid the price. It's already taken care of. We just accept the free gift.

I saw her when I first started preaching so I just know you mimic people. You see people well growing up. This is sad story completely sad story. I saw you nobody knows what that means. I have slots and it's like they're spinning all the time and I'll catch one. That's what she means that so I experienced United Baptist preacher's man. They preached they pray that I music they sing acapella high school. There was power in their preaching to there was but I never forget his name is Jerry Cobb and still preaches and he wouldn't he preached like this and I tried to move him. He get it to the Hard Way in Everett all day while he's preaching he do that to his ear. So what do I do when I first start driving? I don't know why it's doing it. amendment 3 and then we going to get on out of here. This is what we need to do.

know our identity in Christ

share his love with others. Moniece is a good point. Do you really know who you are and God, do you understand who you are? You're an important person. I'm just little old me. Yeah, I am too. But listen in the eyes of God. You're important in Christ. We have become the children of God, John 1:12 says to all who believed him. Accepted him. He gave the right to become children of God. We should be grateful that our fathers full of grace and truth.

Is full of grace full of Truth. I seen it. seen it been taken advantage of doesn't mean we we should take his love is Mercy and just use it as weed with. God is faithful he forgives but how could you want to live a life? Do whatever you want to do if your true is sold out to God. Your purpose is your desires. They're all going to switch.

We're all going to switch and there go to switch to Jesus. And when you see Jesus in that becomes your goal your life will change or I would fair to say that maybe you better check your experience with Vonage Jesus back here because when you truly get a hold of it now, I know we can mess up saying that. But it will change the the direction of your life. So we don't need to take it for granted. We need to grow in relationship with him. We need to know and love him more and more not do everything that we want to do just because we want to do it. I now want to know God more and more. I am a lover of the presence of Jesus. I look for an experience every single time I go to church there should be a moment where God touches or God blesses. I don't know what they'll be using. But it when I when I prepare a sermon I prepare a message I do that with it. That is so good and I get excited and all we want to do is tell people to good and give him a wide open seat for the presence of the spirit of God to sit down and just bless this song. I'll look for it every time.

So as we live our life receiving the mercy of God, he wants us to be merciful back to people. Luke 6:36 be merciful. Why because just as your father is merciful. He wants us to be like he'll we're not to treat people we are to treat people with the same love that Jesus showed us. Come on, we need to love people that is his desire. He desires for us to do everything with love and when you do that grace and mercy is extended McInnes. understand this to working hard for God is the appropriate. The appropriate response to his grace. Yeah, cuz somebody doesn't good for you. Even in the National human laugh out loud. Talk about the grace of God.

Is it appropriate response to 2 to act and worked hard for his grace? That should not though. Be an effort to earn his favor. Then I'll get it confused and think that your works are doing the job cuz your works are not doing the job. It's all because of his grace and his Mercy.
