For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against rulers against the authorities against the cosmic Powers over this present Darkness against the spiritual forces of evil in the Heavenly places our enemies our spiritual they're not physical. They're not people. All right, when we get it all kinds of conflict and we will when we have all kinds of frustrations.

Always remember that Christians that the person is not the enemy. The person is simply a tool in the hands of the enemy. Just as jokes wife was to Joe when when the devil left the scene. We can't see that there are some different categories of evil. There's two different categories. They're organized. There there is a an organization to what evil and Satan is doing that how he sends out his troops and suction and how maybe something sometimes you'll get. Kind of a minor maybe sometimes we get a miner attack, but other times we might get a full-on swapped something that's more powerful than those minor ones. So all these terms that know one another that there are various levels and and strengths and intensities of evil that can come against us.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand. So he's going to say the word stand a lot that the key term as you are that you don't run away. You stand against it.

So it's like almost like a dress but you wouldn't call it that got something more manly than that when it's a man and so you going to fight you need something that stuff that you can move your legs and something in that that built this again. The belt of Truth Now why we call that belt of Truth and why does associated like that? Because the truth is your foundation by which you fight like Just like your legs or your foundation for everything in athletics. Everything is fighting you fight with your legs first, you play with your legs, if you're playing baseball and you're in the field, all right, if you're going to get your glove on that ball, you got to first use your legs to get there. If you're going to throw you going to pick and you know, that the arm looks like it's doing all the work but everything is found it on that leg. So that's a that's where you make your money right there. The belt of Truth gives you that foundation for all the other stuff to have. MN winter often heard that I've often heard this that that most of the armor is defensive. And there's only one up at the weapon the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. That's the offensive weapon that that's really not true that I have come to find out. First of all, this belt is not just a defensive Weapon It's not armor. It's under the armor and it's to give you tips to make your legs.

To make them ready to do something to make them to get in the position to be able to do whatever you got to do to use the store order a or Doe Run and do something. That's a March.

Another offensive weapon. I'll tell you this this is going to get get ahead of myself to a sermon in the future. But the shoes are the gospel of peace. The shoes aren't armor either the shoes are for mobilization. That means we're taking the battle to the enemy we're going into his territory. So that's offensive as well.

so Beltre Now I've said this before that this is God's armor. Not just the armor of God that he made but the armor of God that he personally owns and wears and use it. So there's a mixture of the metaphors here. But it didn't actually have another one of Paul's letters. He called some other things by different names to different parts of the armor. I think that's to say this all kind of works together. Like nut, you can't like take some of the armor and leave some some of the other it all. This is his one it works of it as one unit.

So this Messiah that spoken of in Isaiah this this this Messianic figure that Isaiah prophesied about he wears righteousness and faithfulness and Truth around around his waist as his foundation the truth of God, the truth has been revealed in the gospel. So Believers will be strengthened by this truth. It gives us the foundation to stand in the midst of the opposition in the in a time of evil in a time when when everything's very confusing. Are foundation will still be steady because we have truth to see through the fire. When there's all kinds of false doctrines going around out there. We have the truth to keep us steady.

All right. So all these things that Satan does to try to sway people right? So you got the storms that try to knock down people. Christ put it this way. He says the one who hears these words of mine.
