Family/Group Study Notes for Week of September 16, 2018 Series: Inside Out Part 4 – Honor

What does honor mean to you? How do you show this to others? How do you show it to God? Who do you have a hard time showing honor to? Why?
Read How does this passage describe our relationship to each other and to God? Why does God link our love of Him with how we treat those around us? How does this show God’s desire for His creation?
Read and . What do these passages say about God’s creation-humans? How do you think we have the image of God in us, especially since we are sinners? How do these passages relate to how we honor God? Why is it so difficult sometimes to treat each other with honor?
How do we move from a heart of dishonor to a heart of honor? Where do you have to repent to honor those around you? How do you put on Christ to more put in the likeness of God the creator?
How can you actively seek the betterment of those around you so you can better see and be in relationship with God? Who are those around you who you can reach out to who are far from God? Who are different from you? Who need freedom and healing?
Pray that we are able to reach those people.
